The air conditioning compressor on our 2012 Ford failed last week while we were traveling thru Canada. It was a holiday weekend (Canada Day) so no Ford dealer was available to service the unit so we sweated our way thru the rest of our trip back to Alaska. The question came up if there is any way to operate the coach air conditioner under such circumstances while the coach is in motion?

Yes, you can run the coach air conditioner while in motion, if you have the coach generator running.

We have been running the coach air while driving for many years now. I have seen arguments about which is more fuel efficient, running the dash air or the coach air. When I had a 35' class A, on really hot days, I would run both at the same time.
