If you don't buy a PC, what are you going to buy? I've looked at all of them, only one other rv I would even consider. My current rv had a lot of issues when new. After I got everything fixed I still had a cheap rv. Cheap cupboards, no name appiiances , outside compartments didn't line up, soft floor, sofa bed you cant sleep on. I assume there will be some repairs to my new pc but when the bugs are worked out I'll have wood cabinets, name brand appliances, nicer bed (I hope) laminated wood floor, and other options that the other guys wouldn't offer. I'll let you know if I'm disappointed with my new PC. My current motor home has 234,000 miles.

Does the fresh water capacity listed by PC include the 6 gal. of unusable water in the hot water heater?

I have a 2400 on order, it has a 23 gal. black tank. Does the bathroom sink drain into the black tank?

Isn't it kind of risky driving without a spare tire?

I notice the 2018 models don't have the round spare tire compartment in the rear. Where's the spare tire? Is it under the coach?

I sure hope PC doesn't sell through dealers, the final cost to buyers will go up. Most RV dealers are not good to work with. RV dealer sales people know very little about RVs. Earl knows his product very well, he's not just a salesman, he's part of the company. When buying factory direct, the on line pricing is essential.

The nice thing about new owners is PC has a future. A friend didn't buy a PC because he was afraid it would become an orphan. Born Free, Chinook, and Big foot, quality builders, are gone. If PC raises prices like the Airstream Interstate, that would hurt. The competitive price is what sold me, without the on line pricing I may not have made that call to Earl.

The E350s get the 4.56 ratio same as the E450. Earl pointed this out to me, it's new for 2017 and 18. Any build that has 72 sq. ft. of frontal area is required by Ford to have the 4.56 ratio on the 350 and 450. The new 6 speed has a 2nd overdrive which should help with the mpg. I hand it to Earl, most rv salesman don't know what a rear axle ratio is. I'm hoping to avg in the 9's, 10 would be great.

I'm Lynn, my wife is Claudia. We have a 2400 on order. We've never been inside a PC. I have never met a rv salesman who knows his product as well as Earl. We are currently down south for the winter in our 2011 Winnebago View (232,000 mi) it still runs fine. Avg mpg 14.8. We had a 2006 View, sold it with 178,600 miles. Avg mpg 17.25. We had a 1991 23 ft Allegro with 7.3 diesel, sold it with 117,000 miles, avg 10.8 I'm very concerned about mpg with the V10. First motor home, bought used was a 19 foot Fan, chevy chassis, 307 gas engine. It was a neat old motor home.

Does this mean not everybody will pay the same price for the same motor home? Will each quote be different even if the options are the same? Can we negotiate on the price? Just some questions I'm wondering about.

Lynn    ( 2400 on order, pricing on line made a big difference in my decision to buy.)

I didn't look below your forum name, I see you have a 2013 2551. We'd love to see it and talk with you but we are in Yuma now and I think it would be an inconvenience for you to meet up with us. Thank you very much and maybe we'll see you down the road.
