I love the recgovcamping app. We like national parks, COE and NFS campgrounds, many campground reservation are made on recreation.gov.  Not sure if it has been made available for android since I have it on my iPhone and iPad.  I also like PocketRanger which makes apps for various state and national parks.

Really love this! We have struggled with the loss of the dinette when we downsized to our 2350.  Do you have a step cover?  I think our recliner would over hang the door step opening.  I hinted to my husband😀

My husband uses a bicycle lock with a cable.  The surge protector was designed with a metal plate attached with dual holes to utilize a lock.

We had a high density foam mattress made for our 2350. It is approximately 6" deep and sits on top of a 3" memory foam. We are fairly satisfied with our purchase. No more trouble than the original mattress for entry/exit and much more comfortable. Nothing helps in making up those corner beds, although you can bend the foam without damage to help put the sheets in place.  We found a guy locally who used our old mattress as a form and cost us about $150. Well worth it. I imagine that shipping costs are pretty steep for a special order mattress.

Help. We purchased our 2010 2350 used.  We have the Samsung surround sound DVD player and a roof mounted satellite.  There was no traditional switch box to change from antenna to cable when we bought our unit. We installed our direct tv box and even put in a new lg TV.  We can watch DVDs from the samsung since we connected it to the TV via Hdmi.  All is well until my husband decided he wanted to try the campground cable.  Plugged it in and realized that something is missing.  Can anyone tell me if the PC comes with cable boxes or something other than the Samsung entertainment DVD player? Can't remember  what that box is that we've had in our previous motor homes.

Love our slide and haven't experienced any problems with our PC. Did have a bedroom slide get stuck in the out position on a Lexington 27 foot b+ Our first trip out in it, brand new. Also had to let a slide in on class a in heavy winds at glacier one year because it was really rocking and were worried about warping or binding.  The worst experience was not us but a poor couple who had come in ahead of us in a camp ground and killed their beloved dog when letting out their slide.  So ALWAYS use caution and especially with your pets when operating the slide!

We had this problem with our 2010 2350 that we bought used last year.  So far the problem is limited to the driver and passenger seat bottoms.  We found a local upholster who did a great job matching and recovering just the bottoms.  Looks good and cost us $300.  Hoping our sofa doesn't do this.  Thought this might have been due to sun damage.  Now with your problem, I'm wondering.  Our repairman said the covering was poor grade vinyl. Disappointing that this has happened.  Like you, we love our PC.

I stumbled across your blog (don't recall how) but I loved it. It is so informative and well written. I even created  a shortcut on my iPad so I could read more.  I was intrigued with your observations on the pacific coast since we may be doing that trip in 2015.  I was very impressed with your writing.  Thanks for sharing your experiences.  I truly admire what you've done and wish we had the courage to try it. Enjoyed your blog and pics.  What a great experience.  We have visited both North & South rims of the canyon, as well as Zion. Our big adventure was a flight over the canyon in a six passenger Cesna. My first time flying. I think we have given up on the Skywalk.  SOOO many places to see!

When we began our search to downsize from our 30' class A to a smaller class B, we found that our class A gasser did not have the resale value of the smaller units we were looking at.  Granted there were fewer of the class B's to search among as well.  So perhaps you might consider resale value.  This being your first venture, based on most folks it will not be your last.  We tried tent camping, pop up, travel trailer, 2 class B's and finally the class A before ending up with our 2350 PC.   We think it is perfect for two.  Would NOT travel with anymore than just us.  Finally, if you are "traveling" then class A has great views along the road.  Class B's are ok for viewing sights along the road but class C's are obstructed somewhat by the overhang.

Sitting in Houlton ME in a nice campground. "My Brothers Place".  Crossing into CA tomorrow for 2 days then down to BAr Harbor and Acadia.  Enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage on the way in, gorgeous.  A special thanks to bgolden for the Fuelio App suggestion.  It is great.  Also thanks to the member whose post I couldnt locate quickly, for the special air filter suggestion.  My husband bought a lifetime air filter (don't know the name) and replaced it, adjusted the tire pressure down to the ratings in the door, not the 80lbs that the guys used when we got our tires rotated & front end aligned.  I am thrilled to report that our last first two tanks on this trip were 10.2 mpg, up from the 8.5 that we got when I started this thread.  Not sure exactly what worked, but we are grateful for the improvement.  Thanks for sharing all the wisdom and experience. 

On another note, after a terrible drive in slow traffic, road construction, we pulled into a Cracker Barrel at 7 pm for a quick meal and free overnight since we were too tired to go to a campground.  Parking lot was empty when we shut down but this morning there was another PC in the lot.  So all the PCs  are inMaine!

Old habits can be good habits as your records indicate .  We just had a front end alignment so only about 30 miles driven on this tank after having that done.  Plan to change air filter prior to leaving for Acadia NP on Sunday. Might look at timing adjustment when we return.  Good info.  Maybe some tweaking will help a bit.
