General Discussion / Re: Introduce Yourself!

I was lucky enough to communicate with the Baldy for many years.  He was one of a kind.  He was from California - when you tilted the US, that’s where all the nuts rolled - his words.   He also traveled with his rock collection.  Think about that - the Rialta was overloaded before you even put your living stuff in it.  However, he really knew his Moho. I learned a lot from him.  He started a massive collection of Rialta knowledge - carried on and added to by “taxPigeon” aka as Duane. We need someone like that in our PC group.

There are several ex-Rialta owners who’ve switched to a PC.  We’re one of them.  One of the major reasons is the height.  Our 2350 is awesome.  We LOVE it. Hey - don’t think I didn’t love my rialta’s - all three (in consecutive years), but we changed for the same reasons you did. Parts were hard to find and there were too many little surprise problems popping up in its maturing years. For the mechanically oriented person, it’s perfect.  But our PC is pure heaven!

I'm not familiar with that PC model.  The only models I've seen have the bathroom after the beds.

Well - guess what!  The E02 message is gone. All is well.  Batteries are charged!  Magic?

Go over to Moran State Park on the island. Same thing only better.   Washington Park in Anecortes is also really special.

Oops!  Yup - I did mean the 2350!  I'm thinking we were just planning to keep it forever.

We've had our 3550 for three years.  I'm happy - I'll keep it forever.  It fits my needs exactly.  However, my husband wants to go a bit bigger - a 2551.  He'd like a better sleeping option and the bigger bathroom.  We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I agree with renting an rv before buying one. We flew into Tacoma and rented a 27 footer for three weeks.  Pricey, but well worth the learning experience. I realized that i didn't like anything that big.   Remember, this was after 30 + years of tent camping.  We spent a lot of our time on the road and when we camped most of our time was spent outside. It just seemed silly to drag around all that huge back area that we didn't use.  We bought a '95 Winnebago rialta, then a '05 rialta, then our PC. I'm really happy, but my husband wants a bigger bathroom and a bigger sleeping arrangement. We'll probably end up with a 2551 within the year. I'm still content with the 2350.

It's your attitude!  We're the same way. We have items, but they're no big deal.  We're so happy with our pc.  The support of the company makes things so easy.  We've owned other brands and had some rather negative experiences.

General Discussion / Re: Search members by state

You asked how to do a search for members' states. No one knew how to do that.
Let's rephrase the question:  anyone interested in a get together from the Great Lakes area?

Me!  I'm from Michigan. Love to attend something close by.

Our stove is constantly a mess.  Stuff constantly falls into it and it's a bear to clean. Funny thing is, I never use it. I use an induction hot plate.  So simple and easy. I love it. I can use it outside and make a huge , easy to clean mess.

Well, that's one unhappy customer out of a bunch of deleriously happy customers. I've had people dis my family doctor, my dentist, the hospital that did my knees, even my dogs vet. I'm not much affected by others opinions other than my own. My experiences with Earl and the gang have been perfect. In fact we're thinking about the 25' model.

We were told to NEVER have tires off the ground!  Just think about it!

We have the levelers and really like them.  I prefer the solidity of the Moho. No bouncing when walking around.  We used the Lego type levelers for  15+ years with no problems. Just depends on ones pocketbook size at the time of purchase and personal preferences.
