It sounds like youhad a very enjoyable time. My time to travel is ticking down and we also have a 2400 and plan to spend a little time in it this winter and next summe. Let me know of any obstacles yo encountered that could have been remideid with a little upfront planning. We are new to traveling in a MH so any suggestions are welcome.

Tips and Tricks / Re: Winterization suggestion

I like your suggestion alot! We plan on going South this winter when I get some loose ends tied up. We had been considering Texas or Arizona but we know nothing about either state as far as the abilty to find places to stay and costs of said places. We are looking for the pros and cons of both states. Thanks for any advice you could give.

Hi everyone, I am new to MH's and Phoenix Cruiser just this year. We purchased a used 2006 2400 that had 15k miles on it earlier this year as it appeared to have hardly been used. Oven still had the shipping cardboard in it. So far we love the ability to be mobile without having to tow another vehicle. We are still learning the differences between a fiver and a MH.
It appears we are going to semi-retire early next year due to the economy being the way it is but we will take whatever is handed to us and deal with it. We have already taken it 4k miles just this summer and anticipate going south for a month or two in early 2010.
I have been looking in this forum for a few months just to see what there is to see and I am totally impressed with what Ron Dittmer has done with his PC. I plan on some of the same upgrades or, if life is good, we will just buy a new one in the future. I do not have any photos of our cruiser but it looks like all the others I have seen. Ours has the couch that turns into a bed and I had thought that it would be a problem but so far we have learned to work around the close quarters when the bed is out. I am a bit puzzled as to how you carry your amenities with the limited outside storage. I had a pile of crap in the fiver of which a lot we didn't use all the time so I eliminated most of it and bought some smaller stuff that would fit underneath. There are still things we would like to bring along. I will continue to read the tips and tricks.
