We carefully took the Euro-chair out the side door and replaced it with a four drawer chest. We have a year 2014 - Model 2350 with a slide out, which takes away a tremendous amount of cabinet storage above the couch.
Anyone interested in a new leather Euro-chair?

Thanks everyone, some very interesting helpful information from everyone. I'm beginning to lean towards 2551 with all the comments, space I know will become a factor when your on the road for a Month or so. Yes, $12,000 extra for a sprinter will certainly allow many upgrades to a Ford. Also good thoughts that the newer models may have many of the problems taken care of, that was very interesting.

Hi!
All ideas sounds good and appears that experience is the best recommendation.  As this is my first time owning an RV,  I appreciate the comments, good to hear different ideas and reasons for the selections that were made. The 2551 certainly does have more space but 2350 sounds more convenient for my way of camping. In my readings it appears that Ford has several  modification that need to be made for ease of driving where as the Sprinter does not seem to need the modifications. Continuing on with the search for the perfect camper.

I am in my 70's and thinking of buying a 2350 or 2551.  This will be my first PC. My dilemma is, which one would be easier to drive and least amount of maintenance, a Diesel or a Ford. My concerns are driving in the wind and play in the steering which ford has been known for. It is very doubtful that I will ever be towing anything. Any comments that anyone may have on the choice of chassis would be appreciated.
