87 octane fuel actually has more BTU/gallon (better mileage) than premium fuel. You will notice a slight acceleration loss using 87 octane because of retarding the spark slightly.

Coleman Grills only work with high pressure, and all have regulators. The hose was fabricated by a propane supply and is designed for high pressure. This is the third RV I used this sytem on.

I use a Coleman grill stove, that has one regular burner. I ran a 1/4" copper line to right next to the small side compartment, added a ball valve that I can reach in front of the tire. Ends at  a bulkhead fitting to attach a long high pressure propane hose that can reach to a table. In that small compartment I fit my 2 - 30 amp electric cables and two water hoses.

Sounds good but when I had a steel tank in an old RV I needed to use a cathodic protection rod, see if the new one has one on drain plug.

So if there is anyone that can help complete where all these wires go, I would greatly appreciate it as I can then complete my diagram and have a better understanding of how all this works

Year to year there are minor differences but this is the basic PC power schematic.

Yes you will use more water, but you can go 2 months without checking. It won't hurt the batteries. Be sure to always oil the sliding track or it will eventually sieze up and be an expensive repair requiring new slides.

reluctant to use the furnace because birds are very sensitive to potential fumes.

The RV furnace is a sealed unit like any furnace at home. Should not be a hazard.

The burners on your stove do give off CO gas. These should not be used.

I've always used this: 3M Marine Scotchgard Liquid Wax - 1 Liter
Need to wipe off before it hazes.

At least once a year. My decals have never had a problem either.

What ever you use will take work, I do a lttle at a time, big RV = big job.

My tires are 7 years old but only 12K miles, so I am reluctant to follow the "6 year rule."

Michelin recommendation
Ten years is a maximum. If the tires haven't been replaced 10 years after their date of manufacture, as a precaution, Michelin recommends replacing them with new tires. Even if they appear to be in usable condition and have not worn down to the tread wear indicator. This applies to spare tires as well.

General Discussion / Re: Lithium upgrade - 2011 P.C. 3100

Solar panels use a charge controller to the batteries and has nothing to do with converter or the inverter. Any charge controller you buy with the panels will be compatable with Lithium upgrade. The generator uses your converter.

The GFI outlet is usually in the bathroom.

Each year they make small changes, doesn't affect basic value, age & mileage are the biggies.
The old slide you have is way better than the newer one, the new engine and transmission are different but not a deal breaker.

Based on my experience, that complete lack of response from the DC Source matches the symptoms and is the first thing that I would check.

Inverter converts 12v to 120v AC, so has nothing to do with his problem.

General Discussion / Re: Wiring for rear camera
« on: August 18, 2023, 09:09:30 am »
Mine did not have a camera. I ran cable from under Ford dog house then up through floor, into passenger side cabinets, all the way to the back cabinet next to medicine cabinet. Drilled hole through back wall high near center running lights and mounted camera. I mounted screen on my dash, can be always on.

Common problem with RV lock. Pot metal breaks. You can push the plunger with a screwdriver from inside where it latches. When door open it will fly away with the spring. Search on this forum you will see where to buy a replacement plunger or an entire new lock assembly. Read them all.
