Same on my 2011, wires are backwards from normal thought.   Simple enough with some water in your tank. Itíll either pump water or it wonít.

Sounds like you got it.   If wired wrong it just runs backwards.

Looking back, when I boought my jeep the spare was new with the  nubs still on it.  15 years old and looked like it just came off the mold. When I bought new tires and rotated it out the store manage drilled several holes in the side wall of that spare.  He said tires like that were deadly and he refused to risk any chance of someone using it.

Ron, I havenít heard much about issues in the last year.  I think itís been worked out. If there were two new rigs, one with the v10 and one with the new v8 it would be a no brainer for me. The v10 as reliable as its history is now a dead horse. In a few years no one will want the v10 buying in the used market.  That alone, not counting the additional power, power range itself and  easier to get at plugs and service.  For me it matters little, unless some unforeseen circumstance destroyed our rig I doubt Iíll live long enough to need another one.

When I get new tires the best of whatís coming off becomes the spare.  What happened here is exactly why.

My plugs were worn to the point of twice and more of the recommended gap.  Work load etc is going to play a part Iím guessing as well.  My transmission I have hot flushed every 30,000 miles.

General Discussion / Cabin air filter

Something I started to look into 2 years back but health issues changed my focus.  I canít find any listing for a cabin air filter for my 2011 E450.  Heck I canít even find where if it exists it may be located.  Is it possible there isnít one?  Iím finally doing well enough health wise that weíre planning a 7,000 mile trip and Iím attempting to address as much as possible in preventative maintenance but Iím scratching my head on this one.

Update.   Now at 83,xxx. Miles and runs good but decided to have the service done. Called three places. Two small businesses and Fords quick lane.  All the same price.  3 years ago plugs and boots was $550.   Now itís $898. But as the day inflation is now under control.   Nuts but after shoulder surgery and dealing with cancer I bit the bullet.   Theyran it into the bay at 7:30 and it was done at 4:30 so some time involved standing on their head and twisting three ways from Sunday was involved.

Anyway the plugs were toast. Iíd actually say I went to the max at 83,000 miles. Iíd recommend no one go beyond 75k.

Iíve got pics of the plugs that tell the story but I have no idea how to post them.

If you can score that good for you.  I paid 10,900 for mine new in 2011.  There listed on Craigslist out here on avg asking 6k obo.  But if you can get those prices sell it separately. Heck sell it to caravana
