General Discussion / 2910T Weight (U.V.W & W.W.V)
« on: December 09, 2019, 12:37:46 am »
I the specs for the Phoenix Cruisers it does not list U.V.W (Unloaded Vehicle Weight), The weight of the motorhome as built at the factory with full fuel, oil, coolant and LP-Gas. Also would be good to have W.W.V (Wet Weight of Vehicle). No passengers or supplies. Gas tank, fresh water tank, and LP-Gas tanks all full. Does anyone know if these weights are posted any where.

Sorry if I'm missing the obvious, where do I go to create a posting to sell my 2910T?

General Discussion / 2017 2910T Dinette Leaking From Rain
« on: December 01, 2019, 06:35:15 pm »
Very frustrated with a leaky dinette slide on my 2017 2910T. I've made several attempts to caulk where I suspected it may be leaking, but a very heavy rain storm during our 2019 Thanksgiving trip revealed that I still have a leak. Came back in the evening to a wet cupboard which was running down the wall to the dinette cushions. I hate getting water in my RV! Unless someone has a good suggestion, I will pull out the caulking gun and go to town once more. If it was up to me, I'd be ordering a new Lazy Daze RV with no slides, just need to convince the wife.

I picked up my 2910T June 28 2017, we paid for the full body paint option. Since getting it home we've noticed how poor the quality of the paint job is. We've already had to take it in to a local shop (in southern CA) for repairs. I now see others issues with the paint and how it's chipping, runs in the paint, wear on the corners already from a very light weight cover. Just very disappointed. Wondering if others are having similar issues.

Photos / Maiden Voyage with the New RV and Jeep Toad
« on: December 08, 2017, 03:57:52 pm »
Finally got my Jeep configured to two with my 2910T. It towed beautifully, so happy with how well the 2910T drove towing my Jeep.

I need to use the Brake Controller connector that should be up under the dash of my 2017 2910T, not finding it. Has anyone used this connector? If yes, can you point me in the right direction? Trying to leverage this wiring to monitor my brake in my Toad.

Thank you.

General Discussion / 2017 2910T - Awning Problem/Question
« on: August 02, 2017, 09:29:26 pm »
This question should apply to anyone one with the automatic awning. I picked up my motor home on 6/28 and was told during the walk through that because of the curved side wall the awning may require a push with the hand when attempting to opening it. So far every time I open the awning I have to give it a push at the same time I'm pushing the awning button, otherwise it gets stuck a few inches from it's normal closed position and starts to unroll. I have to then roll it back in and make sure I give it a push as it starts to deploy and then its fine.

Anyone having this issue? The way it was explained to me it sounded like this may be a common issue. I don't recall this in the brochure or being talked about in any of their videos.

General Discussion / Just Made My Deposit On a New 2910T!!!
« on: January 11, 2017, 03:19:07 pm »
After many months of research and visits to RV dealers and RV shows we pulled the trigger on a 2017 2910T, most of the available options with some extras that Earl was so kind to do for us. We are very excited to be joining the Phoenix Cruiser community. We will pick it up at the end of June and have a nice maiden voyage back to California. Hopefully will encounter other PC owners during our trip home and future camping trips.

Thank you to those of you that took the time to answer some of the previous questions I posted and most importantly those PC owners that offered to have us come see their motor home.

General Discussion / Toad - Max Weight?
« on: October 14, 2016, 09:07:17 am »
I'm hoping I can get some input for those of you that tow a vehicle. I'm considering a Chevy Colorado pickup. I know I'd need to change the hitch to a higher capacity, probably 7500 lbs because the Chevy Colorado is over 5000 lbs. If I understand the number correctly, GVWR is 14,500 and GCWR is 22,000, this would give me a max towing capacity of 7500; if I have this right then I should not have an issue towing a small truck around 5800 lbs, do I have this correct?

Anyone towing a small truck? If yes, how does the PC do when towing?

Thank you.

General Discussion / Factory Tour & Finalizing Option Choices
« on: October 11, 2016, 04:15:02 pm »
I would love any and all input as it relates to:

1- First Factory Tour, any advice on what to look for or ask; things others may have either missed or wished they would have asked during their visit to the factory.

2- Advice / Input on available options, what you would order, or not order if you had it to do all over again.

3 - I'd love to hear about any special modifications/changes you made to your PC when you ordered it (or wish you would have ordered).

4 - We will order full body paint, but my wife and I don't like all of the swirls, so any picture you would like to share of custom paint jobs would be nice to see. Maybe they will have pictures at the factory I can look at.

Any other ideas or advice you might have would be truly appreciated. This is our first motor home (have a 5th wheel toy hauler), so we need to get this right the first time.

Thank you.

Regards,

Dan

General Discussion / Researching Our First Motor Home
« on: September 06, 2016, 09:34:28 am »
Good Day Phoenix Cruiser Owners,

My wife and I are doing research for our first motor home and I've narrowed it down to three manufacturers at this time, Phoenix Cruiser is at the top of my list based on what I've seen online. We are interested in the 2910T, we live in southern CA and I'd love to see one before making a trip to Indiana. I've checked with Earl and no one in southern CA owns a 2910T. I know this is a crazy ask, but if anyone is planning a trip to southern CA that has a 2910T, 2910D or 3100 and you would be willing to show your Cruiser we would love to make the trip to where you are staying to meet and talk with you about your experiences with Phoenix Cruiser and your RV.

Thanks You,

Dan
