« on: July 06, 2017, 03:39:55 pm »
Hi Everyone...
I guess my first question would be has anyone heard any success stories selling their PC on this blog. Any other suggestion for selling a PC online?
Thanks

General Discussion / Realistic Scheduled Service
« on: June 03, 2017, 04:49:53 pm »
Good Afternoon,

Just a bit curious: In addition to routine Oil changes, what is absolutely necessary to have done to the engine at 20,000 miles vs what the manual suggests? This would be on a 2910T gas.

Thanks,
Joe

General Discussion / Refrigerator Fan
« on: April 05, 2017, 09:19:22 pm »
Hi Everyone,
I'm a bit puzzled... I brought my Cruiser out of storage to prep it for a 3 day short trip. When I plugged it into my shore line the refrigerator fan started to run even though the frig is off. I have never seen this before. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advanced

Joe

General Discussion / Bad Leather, My Repair
« on: February 22, 2017, 08:12:59 pm »
After getting nowhere with Phoenix trying to get them to replace some bad leather on the adjustable lounges, I decided to look into some alternative repairs. Only the back of one of the seats was affected but because it was difficult getting an exact match, I decided to change the top half of the seats with cloth. Didn't turn out bad at all and lots cheaper.

General Discussion / Lost Power To Driver Side Slide
« on: December 08, 2016, 09:00:51 pm »
After a 2 day overnighter in St Pete Florida, I started packing up to move out. While pulling in the driver side slide I heard a "pop" just as the slide reached the end. I tried to push the slide back out to investigate but no power at all. The other 2 slides were fine. I checked the breakers and they are just fine. Has anyone experienced this before. Any chance I broke something while pulling the slide in?
Thanks,
Joe

General Discussion / Roof "Bubble" Disturbing
« on: August 13, 2016, 12:29:14 pm »
Hi Cruisers... I went on my roof to pressure wash it today and was quite disturbed to find that the roof has separated (bubbled) the entire length of the coach on both sides. It's like the edges were not properly "glued".

Anyone seen or heard of this happening?

Joe

General Discussion / Recliner Damage
« on: July 12, 2016, 12:44:40 pm »
I am quite disturbed by what I found on the head rest portion of one of our recliners... As you can see in the attached picture, it is quite a mess.  I can't figure out how it got that way.  Both chairs are used equally yet the other chair is in perfect condition, as are the driver and passenger seats.  Any idea how I can get this repaired?

Came across this outside carpet that matches the color of our 2910 and almost matches the coach pattern.  Available in 4 colors.

General Discussion / How Much Are You Towing
« on: June 03, 2016, 11:45:19 am »
I am going from towing a 2,600 pound Jeep Wrangler to towing a 4,000 pound Jeep Trailhawk.  To be honest, I'm a little nervous about towing this through the hills and small mountains along Rt 81 through West Virginia, Virginia and Pennsylvania.  How much are you toing with your PC and do you have any struggles.  Thank You

General Discussion / Side Slide Window
« on: May 22, 2016, 04:59:50 pm »
"Happy Wife, Happy Life"... Maybe not in this case.  My wife is telling me she wants to put a window in the side of the drivers side slide so she can sit on the couch and look the front windshield through the slide.  I told her it can't be done without damaging the integrity of the slide.  I'm struggling with the explanation.  Have anyone out there ever do third third party or at the factory?

General Discussion / Cherokee Trailhawk Recall
« on: May 16, 2016, 11:29:49 am »
Good Morning,

This is intended for the Trailhawk Toads out there.  In a previous post I talked about my new Trailhawk and you all your input put me into a nice comfort spot.  I was concerned because the the Manual seemed quite complicated in regards to towing.  Many more steps compared to my Wrangler.  Well... This past Friday I received a "Customer Notification" with a yellow card (copy attached) that was to be inserted in my Manual to replace the page on towing. The new instructions tell me 2 things. 1) "It is recommended that the battery of the towed vehicle be charged during RV towing". Is this necessary and how do I do this? 2) It simplifies the hook up to only two steps, "Transmission in Park, Power Transfer unit in NEUTRAL (N).

General Discussion / Question About Toad Hookup
« on: April 23, 2016, 08:17:52 am »
Good Morning,

We just purchased a new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk to pull behind our 2910.  Yesterday I had the baseplate installed and this morning I thought I would see how it looked behind my RV and make sure the lights worked.  When I hooked it up I immediately noticed that the the front of the Trailhawk was elevated quite a bit above the RV. Is this going to be a problem?  In looking at the picture I did notice that the Trailhawk is on pavement and the RV is in the grass but it still remains a bit elevated.

General Discussion / Leak In Overheads
« on: January 30, 2015, 03:05:18 pm »
I have a new (18 months) 2910 that I love… That being said, I noticed some water dripping out of the left overhead speaker (back of driver seat).  Upon further investigation I found that both overhead storage areas (above driver seat and above the passanger seat) were damp on the top.  In addition, the hinges on the driver side are rusty. I went up on the roof and could not find an obvious leak.  I did notice a significant gap on the passanger side overhead that was stuffed with a padded board.  Do you have any clue were the water is coming from?  Are the any water lines above?

Thanks,

Joe

General Discussion / Slide Window
« on: April 19, 2013, 05:56:44 pm »
Has anyone given any thought to having a window put into the side of their dinette (or other) slide? Is this an option or has anyone done it as an after market add on?
