General Discussion / 2 captains seats for free in central Florida

The two front captains seats were removed last year and I had them professionally recovered.They are both a 10! After I had them reupholstered I ordered 2 new seats from "shop4seats) The new seats took 8 months to be delivered  so now, having no further need for the original seats, I thought maybe a PC owner here in Florida might need a few newly covered perfect condition seats. I originally had them recovered because the original ones were shedding like dandruff.Drivers seat power works great passenger just goes forward and back.Like I said the seats are available at no cost here in central florida....no I won't ship. Anybody here know of a place that makes leather seat covers? I'm going to have to throw out the couch and find something to replace it...I live in Florida and I have never seen anything like this!

I am planning to upgrade from the standard PC toilet to a higher domestic 320 series toilet. Has anybody out there done this upgrade?Please let me know if its possible. Thanks in advance  Rich

When storing the RV for a short period ( 2 weeks to 2 to 3 months) , whats the proper procedure? Plug in to a 30 amp service? ,Plug in and discontinue the inverter?, plug in and leave the inverter on?Plug in,turn off the inverter,turn off battery switch? Please phoenix community....help me out....thanks

General Discussion / How I "fixed" the problem of the SHORT queen bed

I'm 6'2" and I found the bed a tadtoo short and the mattress uncomfortable. I purchased a Serta 4" mattress topper for a full queen( if you buy one, purchase the 50 lb weight $189.00 at Amazon) I then took a piece of 1/4 " finished plywood from Lowes and, cut it to 60" wide by 2 ft. I had an old mattress topper so I cut 2 5"wide lengths 60 " long and glued the two together. I then covered the two pieces with some long cloth that my wife had and, secured it with hot glue at the seams. I then put 5 strips of industrial strength velcro at intervals on the bottom where the seams meet and attached the piece to the bottom of the lengthwise 1/4 " plywood.Now when we camp I can stretch out and relax and not sleep on a diagonal.When ready to pack up , bend the topper back and slide the extension forward and the bed will move back into position as usual. A word on foam....I found the Serta topper to be superior to cheaper toppers with little or no smell..we love it. Hope this helps  LIEUT

I have a factory installed Tracvision sat dome on my Phoenix Cruiser.Question...can I hook it up to a Direct tv box which I can purchase at Camping World or do I need to buy a KVH box? ALSO....are there any good plans out there where you can pay monthly?? thanks to all who answer.
