Yes, this is their first coach. With everything going on in the world, it's a tough time right now to start a business and not an easy task. We wish them well.

Hi Guys!
thanks for the share! That is correct, the mattress folds over when the slide comes in and access to the bathroom is clear. I attached a pic of a coach with the slide in... We did decide to keep the thicker mattress as the standard and the cabinets on coaches in the line now clear it. The length of the mattress is about 6-8 inches longer than the original mattress and does hang over the base, but finding the taller guys are preferring that... but the shorter mattress can still be ordered.

safe travels!

Hi Bob..
sorry about my slow update... I was correct that the 2552 tank has not recently changed. It is the same tank as the 2400. The brochure has an error and is being corrected.
I'm sorry for any confusion,

Hi Bob
I'm going to double check the specifications with my tech on Monday... we have not made any physical changes to the 2552 grey tank in long time. If the specifications show an error, I will confirm and correct the data.
thank you

Hi everyone!
I happened to see this thread and thought I would jump in... yes, there are a handful of Phoenix Cruisers that were produced prior to us having the ability to install the Garmin and it make sure that it effectively works with our upgraded steering wheel controls. We worked with Garmin over several months to get to the point in which we can install it in production. We do have to modify the dash and there are special brackets and connectors needed to install the components. At this time, we do it at the plant in production and in our service department. However, it can not be done at a dealership currently. That could change if we (along with Garmin) can develop an "install" kit that would provide the dealer all of the items and instructions needed to do an effective install.

Replacement radios etc can be easy in general... the tricky part here is how this system works with the steering controls. That is not yet a plug and play situation. If we get to a point that a kit is available, I will definitely post and let everyone know.

safe travels!!

General Discussion / Re: Service

Hi Guys!
I have heard the similar stories about service departments holding a customer's coach until they can "get to it" and sometimes taking months. One of the reasons we book out in advance is so that you know when you bring in the coach, we are going to work on it. Some jobs may require more than a few days of work and so that customer may opt to leave it with us for a few weeks. But rarely do we have a coach for months unless a customer is looking for a major renovation.
I'm in full agreement that we need more Doug and Dannys! for those of you that have worked with them, you do know they are special and hard to duplicate.... but we are trying to add to their team :-)

As far as anyone having difficulty getting a call back, if that ever happens, you can email me and I will follow up for you.

safe travels!

General Discussion / Re: Phoenix Reduces Their Models
« on: October 04, 2021, 10:11:18 am »
Hi Everyone!
I have not been on the forum in a while, but I love the dialog on this post! I agree that we should have an option that does not require a slide for those that just want something different... We offer that on the Phoenix TRX and I would love to have the same offering on the Phoenix Cruiser.
We do like to listen to all of your ideas. That is how the 2351D came about... My husband and I were at the Hershey show a couple years ago and a customer spent quite a bit of time with us sharing their suggestions and now its our #2 floorpan after the 2552.
We did streamline the floorpans that we focusing on.  The models that were pulled from the website, while they did have their merits in their own rights had less than 1/4 of the retail interest of the 2552 over the past 5 years. Since we are a limited production manufacture already, that means that was a very low number each year for those floorpans.
Never say never, these floorpans are always in our back pocket :-)
keep the ideas coming :-)

General Discussion / Re: 2400 owners (or other) Cabinet joint separation

Hi Everyone!
Julie emailed me to make me aware of this discussion and you are correct, this is concerning. I will be speaking to our service department to determine if this complaint has been recurring or not as this is the first that I have heard of this happening. As I am not aware of every service performed, if an issue is not recurring it may not be communicated further.

Thanks Julie for your diligence in reaching out as it appears that one of the two emails you forwarded to me was directed to an invalid email address and was never received.

If anyone else has had this experience, please email me directly with photos as I do not monitor the forum on a daily basis. Please include the model year of your coach.

safe travels everyone!!

Hi Larry
the only way to list a coach for sale on the Forum is to send me your information. You can send it to Tina@phoenixusarv.com.

Hi All!!
Yes, that is correct, parts are being handled by Dave Ponsler... the best way to order parts is through the website by going to owner resources, then parts department and then click on parts request.

I know how frustrating it may be when required to leave a voice mail. The guys are on the phone for most of the day and or away from their desk if tracking down parts. Please be patient, your requests are VERY important to us. It was evident that Carol could not keep up, as hard as she tried. I believe that now that the responsibilities are being divided, as soon as the "backlog" is caught up, the response time should improve.

as always... thank you very much for your support!!

General Discussion / New Phoenix USA RV Owners Manual!
« on: May 04, 2021, 10:32:01 am »
Hi Everyone!!
Hope this post find you happy, healthy and enjoying your travels!

I'm excited to share that we updated our Phoenix Cruiser Owners Manual and we posted a pdf on the website. Check out the url below..

This was quite an undertaking, as our previous manuals were somewhat limited. Having said that, I am sure there will be some topics that may have been missed. Please check it out and if there is a topic that you think should be added, do not hesitate to let us know. My email is tina@phoenixusarv.com

Please keep in mind that for the individual components in the coach, we do refer to the owners manual for that specific component.  If there is a component manual from a recent model year that we missed and you need it... let me know and I can see if its in pdf format and we will post it as well.

All the best!!

General Discussion / Update from the Factory
« on: December 11, 2020, 02:42:08 pm »
Hi Everyone!!
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! What an interesting (and challenging) year this has been! Who would have thought that 2020 would be the best time to own a Phoenix Cruiser so that you could “shelter in place” in any part of the country that you choose. To have the opportunity to change the view from your window whenever you want is an amazing blessing this year.
I wanted to take a minute and update you all as to what has been going on in Elkhart. Early 2020 started off strong with the added interest of La Mesa RV to support our western states as a new Phoenix Cruiser and Phoenix TRX reseller. When Covid-19 spiked to the point that area businesses and our suppliers had to shut down, we had to shut down the plant as well. We were down for about 6 weeks… after coming back we finalized our agreement with La Mesa RV. They started receiving the Phoenix Cruiser product (and just a couple Phoenix TRX) in August. First Phoenix/Mesa then West Sacramento and San Diego and next Albuquerque. They have been a dream to work with so far. Campers Inn remains strong supporting us with multiple locations all along the Eastern Coast. We are now focused on adding single location dealers throughout the Midwest. The first to come on board is Midway RV in Grand Rapids. They are highly experienced in working with quality motorized coaches and will be a welcome addition. They have not received their first stock inventory yet but have already sold some retail build orders. We are very excited about that relationship.
Covid-19 had an impact on the Phoenix TRX as the Ford transit chassis availability was limited for quite some time.  It provided us an opportunity to discuss other floorplan options and we are looking forward to presenting a floorplan on the longer 178” Transit chassis next year.
Other big news is that WE ARE MOVING!!... Our new address is right around the corner behind the current Marina drive location. Production is 95% in the new building already. Service is working in the new building. Our sales, admin, purchasing and service managers will be moving into the new building this month. There are going to be ongoing renovations as we work through making the new building truly ours- to include getting the overnight hookups in place. (so please confirm that we are all set up for your service appointment) So when you come to visit us in Elkhart (and we hope that you do) If it’s after the first of the year make sure you go to Phoenix USA RV at 3504 Cooper Drive, Elkhart. We will post an announcement on the website as soon as our admin is fully moved and the signage is in place.
2021 is full of optimism for the RV Industry, we are looking forward to continuing to support you all at the factory with parts and service and any questions that you have about the product. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us!!

Lastly, during this Holiday Season (and always) we wish you all good health and happiness!!

General Discussion / Re: Are they doing OK in Elkhart?
« on: July 31, 2020, 12:59:19 pm »
Hello Everyone!
Just saw this post and wanted check in.

We are doing great here at Phoenix! Keith was out sick for just over a week and we tried to cover for him as much as possible. We are so sorry if there was any delay in responding.

The good news is- Keith is back and doing well!

The production team is busy with orders and service department is also busy with many customers coming through for their annual "to do" list.

During these uncertain times, we are thankful every day for our customers and the ability to remain open for business. We hope that every one out there remains healthy and enjoys their travels.

When social distancing is becoming the "norm", there is no better time to own a Phoenix Cruiser!

Safe travels!
