General Discussion / Re: Service
« on: October 30, 2021, 10:08:52 pm »
Hi Guys!
I have heard the similar stories about service departments holding a customer's coach until they can "get to it" and sometimes taking months. One of the reasons we book out in advance is so that you know when you bring in the coach, we are going to work on it. Some jobs may require more than a few days of work and so that customer may opt to leave it with us for a few weeks. But rarely do we have a coach for months unless a customer is looking for a major renovation.
I'm in full agreement that we need more Doug and Dannys! for those of you that have worked with them, you do know they are special and hard to duplicate.... but we are trying to add to their team :-)

As far as anyone having difficulty getting a call back, if that ever happens, you can email me and I will follow up for you.

safe travels!

General Discussion / Re: Phoenix Reduces Their Models
« on: October 04, 2021, 10:11:18 am »
Hi Everyone!
I have not been on the forum in a while, but I love the dialog on this post! I agree that we should have an option that does not require a slide for those that just want something different... We offer that on the Phoenix TRX and I would love to have the same offering on the Phoenix Cruiser.
We do like to listen to all of your ideas. That is how the 2351D came about... My husband and I were at the Hershey show a couple years ago and a customer spent quite a bit of time with us sharing their suggestions and now its our #2 floorpan after the 2552.
We did streamline the floorpans that we focusing on.  The models that were pulled from the website, while they did have their merits in their own rights had less than 1/4 of the retail interest of the 2552 over the past 5 years. Since we are a limited production manufacture already, that means that was a very low number each year for those floorpans.
Never say never, these floorpans are always in our back pocket :-)
keep the ideas coming :-)

General Discussion / Re: 2400 owners (or other) Cabinet joint separation
« on: September 16, 2021, 07:43:13 pm »
Hi Everyone!
Julie emailed me to make me aware of this discussion and you are correct, this is concerning. I will be speaking to our service department to determine if this complaint has been recurring or not as this is the first that I have heard of this happening. As I am not aware of every service performed, if an issue is not recurring it may not be communicated further.

Thanks Julie for your diligence in reaching out as it appears that one of the two emails you forwarded to me was directed to an invalid email address and was never received.

If anyone else has had this experience, please email me directly with photos as I do not monitor the forum on a daily basis. Please include the model year of your coach.

safe travels everyone!!

General Discussion / Re: Mothership
« on: June 07, 2021, 03:20:18 pm »
Hi All!!
Yes, that is correct, parts are being handled by Dave Ponsler... the best way to order parts is through the website by going to owner resources, then parts department and then click on parts request.

I know how frustrating it may be when required to leave a voice mail. The guys are on the phone for most of the day and or away from their desk if tracking down parts. Please be patient, your requests are VERY important to us. It was evident that Carol could not keep up, as hard as she tried. I believe that now that the responsibilities are being divided, as soon as the "backlog" is caught up, the response time should improve.

as always... thank you very much for your support!!
all the best!!

General Discussion / New Phoenix USA RV Owners Manual!
« on: May 04, 2021, 10:32:01 am »
Hi Everyone!!
Hope this post find you happy, healthy and enjoying your travels!

I'm excited to share that we updated our Phoenix Cruiser Owners Manual and we posted a pdf on the website. Check out the url below..
https://www.phoenixusarv.com/view-Phoenix-USA-RV--owners-manuals

This was quite an undertaking, as our previous manuals were somewhat limited. Having said that, I am sure there will be some topics that may have been missed. Please check it out and if there is a topic that you think should be added, do not hesitate to let us know. My email is tina@phoenixusarv.com

Please keep in mind that for the individual components in the coach, we do refer to the owners manual for that specific component.  If there is a component manual from a recent model year that we missed and you need it... let me know and I can see if its in pdf format and we will post it as well.

All the best!!

General Discussion / Update from the Factory
« on: December 11, 2020, 02:42:08 pm »
Hi Everyone!!
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! What an interesting (and challenging) year this has been! Who would have thought that 2020 would be the best time to own a Phoenix Cruiser so that you could “shelter in place” in any part of the country that you choose. To have the opportunity to change the view from your window whenever you want is an amazing blessing this year.

I wanted to take a minute and update you all as to what has been going on in Elkhart. Early 2020 started off strong with the added interest of La Mesa RV to support our western states as a new Phoenix Cruiser and Phoenix TRX reseller. When Covid-19 spiked to the point that area businesses and our suppliers had to shut down, we had to shut down the plant as well. We were down for about 6 weeks… after coming back we finalized our agreement with La Mesa RV. They started receiving the Phoenix Cruiser product (and just a couple Phoenix TRX) in August. First Phoenix/Mesa then West Sacramento and San Diego and next Albuquerque. They have been a dream to work with so far. Campers Inn remains strong supporting us with multiple locations all along the Eastern Coast. We are now focused on adding single location dealers throughout the Midwest. The first to come on board is Midway RV in Grand Rapids. They are highly experienced in working with quality motorized coaches and will be a welcome addition. They have not received their first stock inventory yet but have already sold some retail build orders. We are very excited about that relationship.

Covid-19 had an impact on the Phoenix TRX as the Ford transit chassis availability was limited for quite some time.  It provided us an opportunity to discuss other floorplan options and we are looking forward to presenting a floorplan on the longer 178” Transit chassis next year.

Other big news is that WE ARE MOVING!!... Our new address is right around the corner behind the current Marina drive location. Production is 95% in the new building already. Service is working in the new building. Our sales, admin, purchasing and service managers will be moving into the new building this month. There are going to be ongoing renovations as we work through making the new building truly ours- to include getting the overnight hookups in place. (so please confirm that we are all set up for your service appointment) So when you come to visit us in Elkhart (and we hope that you do) If it’s after the first of the year make sure you go to Phoenix USA RV at 3504 Cooper Drive, Elkhart. We will post an announcement on the website as soon as our admin is fully moved and the signage is in place.

2021 is full of optimism for the RV Industry, we are looking forward to continuing to support you all at the factory with parts and service and any questions that you have about the product. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us!!

Lastly, during this Holiday Season (and always) we wish you all good health and happiness!!

Safe Travels

General Discussion / Re: Are they doing OK in Elkhart?
« on: July 31, 2020, 12:59:19 pm »
Hello Everyone!
Just saw this post and wanted check in.

We are doing great here at Phoenix! Keith was out sick for just over a week and we tried to cover for him as much as possible. We are so sorry if there was any delay in responding.

The good news is- Keith is back and doing well!

The production team is busy with orders and service department is also busy with many customers coming through for their annual "to do" list.

During these uncertain times, we are thankful every day for our customers and the ability to remain open for business. We hope that every one out there remains healthy and enjoys their travels.

When social distancing is becoming the "norm", there is no better time to own a Phoenix Cruiser!

Safe travels!
Tina

Hello Everyone!
We are pleased to welcome La Mesa RV to our dealer family. La Mesa RV, one of the nation’s premiere multi-location family owned RV dealerships, will be a stocking dealer at their Arizona, California and New Mexico locations. The Phoenix, Arizona store will be the first of the La Mesa RV locations to receive both the Phoenix Cruiser and the Phoenix TRX brands this summer with Sacramento and then the New Mexico stores to follow later this year.

La Mesa RV was founded in 1972 in a suburb of San Diego, California. Today the company is known for offering the best new brands in RVing including Tiffin, Winnebago, Fleetwood and more as well as having one of the largest inventories of pre-owned, late model motorhomes. Additional information about the company and products it offers can be found online at www.lamesarv.com

As you know, we previously sold exclusively factory direct from the Elkhart Indiana manufacturing location. In 2019, we began to sell our limited production coaches through eastern Campers Inn RV locations. With strong dealer representation in the east with Campers Inn RV and the west now with La Mesa RV, we plan to focus next dealer additions in the Midwest. The reason behind this transition is to more easily make the quality product available to those that can not make the journey to Elkhart, Indiana.

The factory store has remained active, with an in-house Campers Inn RV rep, to handle factory sales to this day. Later this summer we plan to fully transition sales to these premier dealer stocking locations. Customers are still invited to the factory for tours, personal consultations and for service. For the RVers that have grown to know the Phoenix Cruiser brand and have enjoyed the ability to put a personal touch on their coach with modifications, the option to modify will continue to be available.

We look forward to seeing you the next time you are in Elkhart!!

General Discussion / Re: Plant still closed
« on: April 11, 2020, 05:50:02 pm »
Good Evening every one!
I'm sorry that there has been some confusion as to the current status of factory operations. We did post on the blog, which also shows up directly  on the home page about stopping production and admin/sales availability. We also changed our phone system to communicate this shutdown if anyone were to call the office. Regarding plant reopening, we are taking it week by week. The health and safety of our employees is priority. Additionally, we are dependent our our supply chain opening up as well. Our largest supplier communicated this past week they will not reopen until the 27th of this month.

Bob (the onsite Campers Inn salesman) has all of his calls forwarded directly to his cell phone. It is our understanding that he is available day or night.

These are truly uncertain times, yet we remain committed to customer satisfaction. So much in fact that if you are not receiving the information or response that you need you may contact me directly and I will get your answer.

Stay healthy everyone!!

Hi Guys!
Hope the transition went smoothly for you all!! There is still much to be done with the new site. The old site became very difficult to keep content current so this should be much more user friendly. We hope that you like what we have done so far! We will continue to "dial it in"

Have a safe and healthy weekend!
