I have no idea what they cost. Ours were under warranty. You would need hog rings and hog ring pliers (amazon).

Yes I reupholstered all the furniture in our 2090. Kermit supplied the covers. You may be able get the covers form PC. It was not that had a job. Good luck.

General Discussion / Re: Mold Under Clear Sealant
« on: March 13, 2017, 08:49:09 am »
Bob,
We had this happen under the DiamondShield that was on the cap over the windshield. It looks like mold under the film caused, we were told, by a bad adhesive that was used.

I set up scaffolding and spent two days picking the stuff off. I heated it up with a hair dryer and then went to work using plastic scrapers to get underneath it. I had hoped that it would come off in a sheet but not so. If you google it, you will find many ideas on what has worked for others. I can tell you that I tried Xylene and it did not work. Rubbing alcohol did not work. The only thing that worked for me was the heat. I then cleaned off the leftover adhesive with Xylene and put a good coat of wax on it.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Now the wait. We were told May 1 delivery. Our PC has already got a deal pending. Whoever they are, they are going to get a super coach.

Ron G, we ordered a Baystar Sport 3013 with a whole bunch of options.

Hi all,
Well Gail said goodbye and thanks. She is not the only one. After 3 PCs (and the 2910 was going to be our last!!!), we have ordered a Newmar which will be delivered the first week of May so right now we are motorhomeless.

We loved Phoenix USA, the folks that build the MH and the friends that we have met along the way.

Phoenix Cruiser has the best customer service of any Co. that we have EVER dealt with so anyone who buys a PC can be rest assured that you will be taken care of.

We plan to still check out the Forum now and then. Who knows there still may be a PC down the road for us!!!

If you pull the camera cord out from the rear cap you will find the connection plug. There are 4 screws to remove the camera face. Clean and dry the inside. Reseal with sealer. This may improve the screen.

They are the most comfortable chairs that I have ever sat in. They even beat my recliner at home! As Fred said, they are very easy to move around.

The only thing that I dislike about our 2910 is the lack of a wardrobe. I am making do but it would be so much nicer to have a wardrobe like the 2552. We will be living in our PC in Boothbay Maine for 5 months this coming summer. A hanging locker would be Very nice to have.

General Discussion / Re: Slideout or not and Mercedes vs E-450

Sailor35,
We have had all of the above. Our first PC in 2010 was a 2350 on the Sprinter with no slide. Loved the Sprinter because of the fuel economy and the roomy cab. Hated the rear corner bed. We also would NEVER purchase a PC without a slide. One of our biggest mistakes. A slide adds so much more room to the living space.

We then went to the 2551 with no slide--DUMB!!! Loved the twin beds and the wardrobe. We found that the cab was not as roomy as the Sprinter. We have the E450 now in our 2910 (as well as the 2551) and I am used to the lack of room in the cab. We have had no problems with the E450. Not every Ford dealer can handle a motorhome. though.

Now we have a custom 2910, one slide and twin beds in the rear. We love it!!! With the slide out, there is so much living space.

Initially, our thought process for the no slide option was that we lived on a sailboat so we really would not miss the extra room that the slide provided. Not true. It took us 3 times, but the 3rd is the charm.

Ron,
This picture is of a "custom" 2910. One slide and twin beds in the rear--just like ours!

Hey Dave,

Gail has a 2100. We are the ones with the 2910 that you emailed on the way home!

I love those wood valances with the LED Lights. Did you make them or have them made for you?

We are planning to purchase a Winegard Pathway X2 with the VIP211Z receiver. After much research, for us using it in Maine this coming summer, we found that the Wally receiver will not work because it will not pick up all the satellites (unless the Wally has been redesigned to pick up all 3 satellites).

Pricing is also very interesting as well. We have found differences in price of well over $150.
