I've used the Beechlane system on my last 3 motorhomes including my 2350 and was really happy with the convenience, but when I decided this was my last motorhome I ordered the HWH swing away levelers and had the factory in Moscow (Iowa) install them. Now I just push a button and the hydraulics do the rest. BTW expect to spend around 5K but to me it is worth it.

The battery Is pretty tight in fact I had to remove the old slides. Its a Dakota Lithium, biggest one they make. 320 amps with a 200 watt solar panel seems to give me plenty of power. I ran the solar cables into the side (with a 2 port fixture) coming out in the closet and the solar controller is on the closet wall, connected to the back of the inverter. Under the hood I mounted a 40a DC-DC converter connected in-line from the alternator to the coach battery. Usually when I'm boondocking I like to take a nap with the AC on so the generator charges everything to 100 while I'm napping. Also mounted on the closet wall is a 12v to 30v booster for the Starlink mini cable which also comes in the side wall. Antenna is permanently mounted on the luggage rail.

bike chain superlube (any brand synthetic). Just extend the slide out and duck under and spray. Also spray the shiny parts up high on the sides that have to slide too.

My 2350 also has a lighter plug on the wall between the kitchen and the bed.

I'm very happy with my 2005 (2004?) 2350. It has the solid rear cap with spare, I upgraded the single battery to a 320amp lithium and added a xantrex whole house inverter (easy to install in the closet floor). Upgraded surround amplifier and speakers, and other comfort things and now it's an ideal motorhome for myself and 2 dogs. Can't believe my Fridge is still working after 21 years and 110,000 miles.

Couldn't use the shims, must be for a different awning arm. Works great without then. Takes about 4 hours the first time, probably 2 the next time. Powering the awning from the light under the cabinet by the door with the switch and wiring under the cabinet (inside the cabinet floor).

OK the factory is sending me the shims ($20 + shipping), unfortunately they only use black so Ill have to see how they look and maybe have to  paint them. I'll do before and after pictures.

Update so far, ordered the short arms and the factory is looking for the shims to sell me.

Thanks for the suggestions, the absolute cheapest way would be to purchase the Lippert (Solera) short arms (62") and keep my existing awning and hopefully be able to get the shims from the factory. BTW if money is no object there is a motorized box awning available from Carefree but it is very expensive. I'll follow up when I've made the changes.
