General Discussion / Re: Fabric on the slide out ceiling

That sounds like a pretty good idea with the tube, I’ve never tried it before. I do have some 3M 77 adhesive so I think I’ll try that this weekend. Thanks for the tip.

I have some sagging in the carpet like material. No stains to indicate water   What have others used to re secure theirs?

Well written Ron!  I really love my 2016 3100. It drives and rides so nicely.

Welcome to the family. There’s a mini rally in the Wisconsin Dells starting a week from Thursday if you’re able to make it that would be great.

Thanks everyone for the advice. This is not 100% sure but we may do this for my son. If we do a tow, I will let you know how it goes.

I’m thinking of picking up a small travel trailer for my son in another state. It is 19 feet long and weighs about 3100 pounds. Anybody have thoughts or input on that?

That is where I put mine as well. I had a piece of steel bedframe that I used. I welded brackets on each end and bolted it to the frame and attach the tube to that. Works fine and I was able to support the tube in the center with a heavy duty tie strap.

My macerator is working just fine, but as I had a slinky tube, I bought an enclosure for it and secured it to the bottom of the frame just in front of the back drawer. It’s big enough to accommodate a rhino with the fitting.

I’ve heard that the decals or magnetic stickers don’t work so well. I just took a sewing needle with dental floss and made a pattern in the screen. I would post pictures if it was easy to do. Easy to accomplish with somebody inside and somebody outside.

My wife keeps asking me how many people are coming to this event so I thought I would try to do a poll for the first time.

I had decals all over my 2500 crew cab pick up when I was in AMSOIL Dealer. When I retired from that, I used to heat gun and Amsoil heavy duty degreaser to get rid of the residue. It does take a lot of time to accomplish. Amsoil heavy duty degreaser Does not hurt paint, plastics or other things. I’ve used on many things for almost 20 years.
