The BORG stainless steel extensions work good. Also, GUPTA tire pressure monitoring for 10 tires is what I use and it’s been really good.

I had a 2023 Ember Travel Trailer that I bought new that had a 12 V refrigerator. I had 2-12 V batteries.  They were either lead acid or AGM. I don’t remember. I had no solar and I never had a problem. Even when I was on the road for a few days without plugging in. It kept a very constant temperature.

It sounds like that external filter is a bypass filter. I installed a bypassed oil filter on my 04 Duramax. It would filter the oil down to one micron. It kept the oil looking clean as it was free of most soot.

Good job. I did something similar. Bought a 3 outlet plug strip and tied it into the outside outlet and 2 way taped it next to the window.

I installed mine just in front of the drawer

Bolted an angle iron to the frame then I welded 2 cross pieces to mount the tube to.

I have a strange noise that is hard to hear that comes and goes while driving from 55 to 65 mph. I’ve tried different things to see if I could manipulate. I think it’s a vacuum leak. I changed the heater/air conditioning settings or the cruise control. Cannot seem to control it. My engine runs fine. I’ve not had it to a shop to see what they think.

I like the “trailer” dump method myself, SWOOCH, it’s gone.  I have a square tube in front of the pull out drawer that accepts a Rino hose and fittings. Off Amazon

Ron, I haven’t heard much about issues in the last year.  I think it’s been worked out. If there were two new rigs, one with the v10 and one with the new v8 it would be a no brainer for me. The v10 as reliable as its history is now a dead horse. In a few years no one will want the v10 buying in the used market.  That alone, not counting the additional power, power range itself and  easier to get at plugs and service.  For me it matters little, unless some unforeseen circumstance destroyed our rig I doubt I’ll live long enough to need another one.

My V10 is great!

I find the knobs hard to tighten up enough to stay and then very hard to release. Has to do with my arthritic hands   I going to give this a try.
