General Discussion / Re: Any Phoenix Cruisers in Northern California?

I'm late to this thread, but if you are still interested, I've got a 2350 Sprinter in the East SF Bay area.
I occasionally travel to Redding to visit family so I pass right through Red Bluff.
100% happy to show off the PC anytime :-)

General Discussion / Re: Full Body Paint vs Lower Body Paint
« on: January 04, 2017, 02:17:46 am »
Full body paint will be one of my most important options on my next coach.

My 2010 2350 Sprinter has lower body paint only and is not garaged. The painted portion still looks new while the unpainted portion is hard to keep shiny.

On the other hand, I'm getting pretty good at polishing and waxing  :-)

All the best,
Gordon

General Discussion / Sprinter dealer service in the SF Bay Area?
« on: January 27, 2012, 02:30:49 pm »
Hello,

I need to find a dealer for warranty service and I'm wondering if anyone has had good (or bad!) service from any of the Bay Area dealers.

I have a 2010 2350 on a Sprinter Chassis.  It has developed a moan or whine anytime the wheels are turning at slow speed. I believe the noise is coming from the transmission output shaft seal.

I am literally down the block from Stoneridge Dodge in Dublin, but it seems that every Sprinter I've ever seen there for service stays there for weeks or longer!  We use our unit every week or two, so a long visit would be inconvenient.

Thanks in advance,

Gordon

Hello Fellow Phoenix Owners!

I've been lurking here since my wife and I bought our 2010 2350 last year, but have not posted until now.

This is our 3rd motorhome. We previously owned a '78 Jamboree on a Dodge chassis which we bought used in the early '90s and a '99 Dutchmen on an E-350 chassis, which we bought new and put about 100K miles on. We have historically used our motorhomes mostly for towing a racecar and staying at the track.

We were in the mind to upgrade last summer,  looking for a bargain diesel pusher at a used/consignment lot when we peeked into the Sprinter-Chassis Phoenix unit.  We were immediately impressed with the quality and roominess. We took it out for a test drive and we were really impressed by the ride quality.  The same day we tested it towing our loaded car trailer and subsequently made a deal on it.

In the year that we have owned it, we have put 10,000 miles on it (without taking any big trips!), and have probably spent around 50 nights in it. We have come to like it more and more and have made a point to recommend Phoenix Cruisers to anyone who will listen.
