General Discussion / Re: Mercerator clear 90?

I haven't measured the ID of the hose yet. Thinking a fitting like this and a garden hose coupling plus a few more cpvc fittings

Picture. Because of the picture size the resolution is no very good, but if you look at it on Facebock you can see it better or I could email it to you.

Take a look at my post on the PC Facebook page. I saw this setup a few weeks ago and was thinking of trying it out when we snowbird this winter.

On my 2019 2552 there is a switch between the two 12v sockets that will switch  power from the coach battery to the house battery.

We use Progressive Insurance our current premium was $819 and we do have replacement cost for a total loss. We live in Massachusetts and we have had 1 claim 2 years ago worth $40k after having a tree fall on the front. We need to renew in August, l'm not sure if or what the increase will be.

General Discussion / Re: Liquid Spring maintenance
« on: October 20, 2022, 11:58:41 am »
I have my PC in for service of the chassis and asked them to test the batteries, sevice the generator, change the squeaky belt, and torque the Liquid Springs bolts. Something you should all check is your hoses on the LS I have to have one replaced because of the way it was run it was being cut by the frame.

On my 2019 2552 the 3-way valve leaks and fills the fresh water tank and has overflowed onto the floor, so now when hooked up to city water I open the drain valve so it doesn't happen again until I get a new valve to install. I called PC and was told the valve needs to be in a precise place not to leak, my feeling is if the water pressure is below 45 psi the valve does not seat properly.

After reading this post I started looking at the cost of switching to AGM this is what  from Bateries & Bulbs store near me.

Frank, there are slim pickings out there right now for sealed lead acid, BCI Group GC2, 6V, deep cycle. Depending on your time expectations, I see three possibilities:

East Penn, 8AGC2, 190AH, $305 each, available within a week

Trojan, 6V-AGM, 200AH, $475 each, available mid-April

Lifeline, GPL-4CT, 220AH, $395 each, plus shipping from CA, available end of June

General Discussion / Convenience Center Panel false readings
« on: January 31, 2022, 12:28:35 pm »
I know the black and gray tank sensors can get dirty and give you false readings but now my battery readings are false, I am only getting 1 light but with volt meter measuring 13.19V while plugged in. Could there be a loose or bad connection somewhere or a bad panel?

I never heard the chirping until this morning when I started up our PC to warm it up before our trip south. I am not sure if this is the first time it did it or because I read this post last night I was aware of the issue.

I wash my roof and components on it with Nu Finish car wash, no wax as wax will make the roof slippery to walk on, especially if it is damp.
