I would go to a u haul place in the PC and ask if what you need to haul a u haul is on the PC.  If what they say sounds a bit fishy, get a second opinion or post a picture of the PC's rear here & ask.  And yes, after you pick up the trailer, I would practice a wee bit turning right & left to see how the trailer tracks behind you.  You may never have to back up, but at least try it.  I pull a Smart Car with no extra brakes & don't have a problem stopping. I also have a 3100, so an extra ton is no big deal.  When I pull the boat, it takes a bit longer to get up to highway speed...

First ?  answer No.  However I have broken some in my apartment or/and house years ago and I found a porcelain old one.  As the spindles are very similar for different stoves, maybe an appliance manufacturer or repair shop has metal or porcelain replacements.

General Discussion / 5th wheel thingy

My brother in law & wifey are going to get a 5th wheel -they have a little trailer they park near Kalamazoo -  & then retire to travel a few months of the year.  I suggested they first visit the Phoenix back room to see how things are well made & talk to Earl about "good" 5th wheels made nearby.  I'm hoping if he can't get them into a PC, he at least gets them thinking about getting a PC in the future and gives them some help in their quest. 

Anybody who used to have a 5th wheel thing have any ideas for me other than telling them to quit screwing around & just get a PC & a little 4x4 to tow?

Oh...we had a Flamer on our Coach House.......if you do not have yhose two widgetie thingys mounted on the side of PC to hold the awning in place while extended,....well.... you need them.  I majorly disliked that awning when using the legs not mounted into the brackets.  I wasn't really thrilled when I did use them.  Just have PC put new style on your PC.  That rain dump really works & really freaks Linda when the damn lets go (I only jump a wee bit)(&then wipe up the floor)

That little bracket is such that I don't thike a substitute would work well

Adventure Anywhere / Near Traverse City

Yesterday around 5pm while coming home from Traverse City, we saw a spiffy bluish Phoenix Cruiser near Acme headed towards TC.  Anybody know of any fellow PC-ors out there traveling around here-northwest lower MI?  This is the first time we have seen a PC besides ours around here.

I concur with Judi about having storage inside the footrest/legrest and buying it already made.  I was going to suggest a box and pillow.    I fo rgot about it also looking nice.    i'm just a guy

Hi again, draft of cold air sinks down wall, warms & releases moisture - or is it warm air cools, reaches dew point & again...bingo...wet.  Maybe insulate with some bubble wrap.  I have thought of this when parked in the sun.  Do you have thermal pane or regular glass & are seals still ok?
Try a pad on the mattress or see if Phoenix still sells a temperpedic made to size.   Call or email Amanda & ask.  I put a topper pad on mine & it is much better.  Oh, is it right side up?

Hi, if you are up for crawling around down under, check the wires coming off the grinder for corrosion & possible failure. Do the ele. valves work?  Maybe the fuse is futzed.  I think you can turn the impeller with a screwdriver if it is jammed.  Good luck.
Oh, we have stayed at Anvil Campground and also enjoyed our stay.

I now replace with magnetic latches. I think I put two on the silverware drawer  which keeps drawer from slinging out as I whip around corners.
