Ron -  good installation, looking to do something similar for our PC.  Is the little hook to hold the mud flap up?  If so for what purpose?

We ordered a 2552 stretched with full body paint.  The chasis was entering the shop October 9 (not sure if it had been extended at that point) and received the email it was finished January 29, 2018.  During that time the plant was closed for two weeks for the Christmas Holiday.  We were told that full body paint could take as long as 4 weeks.

Central Maryland, North East corner of Carroll Co. near the PA line.  If the weekends will not work, may be able to do a weekday!

Hi Rob.Jen, we have a 2018 2552 and will be close to your location the weekend of April 28, Lancaster.  We would be happy to show you our coach if the timing works.  Send me a personal email and we can work out the details.

We took delivery of our new PC last week and asked specifically about this issue based on previous discussions on the forum.  Was told to relieve pressure before making a switch to another position.  For example, if connected and using city water and wish to switch to tank fill, first turn city water off, open one end of the hose to relieve pressure, switch to tank fill, and then re-connect hose and fill tank.  If the pressure is not relieved, it could damage the O rings in the water switch.  In this example not sure if that also means to open up a faucet inside the coach to relieve pressure from the inside as well.

Hope this helps.

We had a tire blow on a fifth wheel as we were passing a rest stop.  Glad we had a spare. So on our 2018 2552 we ordered the spare tire.

Well think about it, its really 4 to 1.  Two new owners and 2 new positions.  That's what we know, may be more!    :)

Will do.  I just called the factory and was reassured that the company is not going away.  The company was sold to two gentlemen (mentioned in an early part of this thread) and they have hired and engineer to replace Kermit and one other person.  Kermit was handling two jobs.  So I'm going to keep the faith and look forward to our delivery early next year.

We attended the 2017 Hershey show and placed an order for a 2552.  Imagine my surprise on returning home to check the forum to see that PC had been sold.  Nothing was mentioned at the show of the sale.  I do agree that the new owners should release some statement on their intent to ease everyone's concern.  Having seen several buyouts the question becomes, how do the employees feel?  It could lead to better positions for the current employees as they are the knowledge based on building PC's if the owners want to make the company stronger.  My wife and I are taking a trip to the plant this weekend, maybe we can get a sense of how things are going.

Thanks jatrax, March seems so far away.  We will sign up for the Phoenix Cruiser Travel Club.  We were on our way home from the shore last weekend and passed a PC heading to the shore.

Hi Nancy and Jake, we remeber and thanks for sharing your experiences with us.  It was great talking with you at the show and hope our paths cross again.  Will try and remember to post pics, March is so far away!!! >:(

Hello
My wife and I have been long time campers, 30+ years.  Starting in a station wagon, pop up, travel trailer, 2 fifth wheels, a class C and now a new PC 2552.  We wanted to downsize from the 32' class c to something more agile for when we retire.  Have been researching different units for a year and half, watching this forum (thanks to all on the forum, invaluable information tymote) and was at the Hershey a week ago and placed an order for the 2552.  Delivery will be next March, our choosing, no camping during the winter months, at least for now.

Look forward to meeting some of the members at the rallies and happy to be a member of the PC family.
