on the back side of Old Town Trolley Tour bus Company, there is a parking lot, you can park your 2350 there, and it was free 2 years ago when we were there.

When you finished with Savannah, you can move up to Charleston and do a harbor tour to Fort Sumter before you head on up to Myrtle Beach.

after going back to some of your old posting, I think I have a pretty good idea on the antifreeze pickup tube and the water pump. I believe I can put one of those sucker connect to the water pump. So thanks for all the very helpful posting.

Boy, that porch light sure is a controversial subject. I guess it has its pros and cons. To each his own.

To switch to another wish subject. Before we put in our order for the new PC, I requested Kermit to install  a outside propane outlet on the passenger side of the RV and he said no-can-do. I think that is high on my wish list.

thanks for the pic on mod on the sani-con hose. I was finally able to do the modification as you descripted and everything work out great. Now I don't have to stoop down to the ground to check on the line to see if the black water is coming out clear or not.

Another thing, could you tell me what is a pickup tube and where is the water pump in a 2350? and where is the switch to turn it on, and can you install a pickup tube on the water pump permenently. Thanks for all the help.

General Discussion / Tire Pressure
« on: November 04, 2010, 08:50:04 pm »
I noticed that in earlier topic, some of you had been taking your PC to get weigh in. I am just wondering if you have made any significant change in the tire air pressure because of the weight difference. On my 2350, I notice the sticker by my driver side door, they recommend putting in 75 lbs pressure on the front tire and 65 lbs on the back tire.

Also I am seriously thinking of installing a TPMS on my PC, just wonder if anybody got a preference on certain brand. I am thinking of getting a new Honda CRV as my toad. I notice that TPMS is a standard on the new CRV. Does anybody know if there is anyway that one can get a readout of the CRV tire pressure without putting some extra kind of remote sensor on it? Any input on related mattes is appreciated.

Has anybody installed a tow guard on a PC? Could you make a comment on the brand you picked, did you install it yourself and how complicated is it as a home project, what about its functionality? do you still get dings on your toad? Thanks

I was looking at some of the pictures of Winnebago Via, and they have both the driver and passenger seat swivel back for time of entertaining. Just wonder why Stuart said it could only be done one way or the other and not both?

When we ordered our PC, we were told we could only have either power seat or swivel, cannot have the two options together. So we opt to have the passenger seat swivel and so far I find it very comfortable to interact when we have company sitting on the couch.

Wow! that was very nice of Norcold to ship you  the door ASAP, but I am just wondering shouldn't Norcold do a total recall. I understand this is not a life threatening situation, but for those of us that just got a new RV and are still under warranty, aren't we sitting on a time bomb waiting for the warranty to expire and then the door hinge break down.

Paula, did Norcold ask for the return of the broken door? I just wonder if I should order a repair kit as a preemptive measure or should I tell Norcold that I too have a broken hinge problem so they can send me new door with re-enforced hinge. Thanks

so after 5 months I was finally able to get my directv dish connected to my tv and get it working. Even though my TV is a HD TV, it does not require a HDMI cable so when you order your Directv receiver, make sure you have the right kind of receiver. From my forward top right cabinet next to the TV, there is a coaxial cable come out and from the Tracvision output, there are two coaxial cable come out, one coaxial goes to the TV at the back and one goes to the TV up front, just connect those input and output cable to the Directv receiver box.
Set the TV channel to 3 and turn on the Tracvision satellite and the TV screen will say searching for satellite signal. You will have to push the exit button before a menu screen comes on and ask you a few self explanatory question before it will actually start searching for signal.
You really don't need Directv to come and install the receiver box. But I did call up KVH TracVision and they were very helpful to help me out.
I took my RV camping this weekend, and I was able to get all the channels that I have ordered and I am very happy about that.

I use a splitter to connect my input cable to the back TV connection, so both of my TV can have input to al the channels.

your posting on connecting the clear hose to the compartment and putting a "T" with the spicket sound very very smart and logical, but I am a little bit dense on how to and where should I start the project. Could you elaborate it a little more so I can follow it up. Thanks

I do have the long mirror arm and I am pretty nervous about it too. Especially when I am going down a two lane road when a 18 wheeler is coming towards me. The longer arm feel like wings that are ready to clip off the road side mail box. Its just a matter of time before I will exchange it for the shorter arm mirror.
