General Discussion / Re: 2020 Vehicles to tow 4 down
« on: October 08, 2020, 10:54:32 am »
Hiya
Just got back to Arizona from our Summer on the Oregon Coast.  Traveled approx 2500 miles towing. We tow a 2018 Buick Envision with our 2552 no slide and have not had a problem.  Just have to take it easy on long up and down grades. Sweet-spot seems to be around 61/62 mph on flat land. Use an RVI brake for the braking system, put in neutral, pull 2 fuses and go. Easy hookup and disconnect.

We use the strong-back (www.strongbackchair.com).  Made for bad backs.   Folds up but probably goes in toad most of the time.  They do wear out over time

« on: February 08, 2017, 01:52:53 pm »
Currently looking at a preowned (well used ) 3100.Wondering if anyone has good or bad to say about them.  Too long, under powered, wonderful, etc.
Any model years to avoid.  Have bought a few rvs used so common things are known.
Thanks.

General Discussion / Re: Roadside Assistance

Good Morning.  Just to chime in on this topic.  We don't have a PC as yet but in our experience with Class A's we have had very good luck with Coach-Net for Towing and assistance.  Kinda pricey tho.   We used the extended warranty for the Radiator repair that was necessary on our 2005 Country Coach but only with a lot of pushing on our part.  Don't remember the company but got it thru Guaranty in Oregon.

I have learned nothing is below or above interest.  ;)  Wife is against bed in a corner so thats why a 2551 or larger with twin beds is desired.  I think we may be in quartzite at that time but will keep it in mind.  Will be in touch later.  Thanks for the offer.

Hi all, Finally got approved for the Forum.  Have been lurking as guest for the last few months.   We are owners of a 2005 40 Country coach Inspire and are thinking of downsizing in the next year or so.  Have talked to Earl last spring and liked what he said about the Phoenix Cruiser. Unfortunately we haven't seen one (2551 or larger) as yet in the flesh so to speak.
We travel with our 2 Bichons in the Summer (Get out of the Heat of Yuma).  Anybody near yuma?  Or will PC be at quartzsite this year?
Anyway as time goes on will probably have many questions.
