General Discussion / Re: Holding tank sensors
« on: December 26, 2020, 08:52:09 pm »
We had the Garnet SeeLevel sensors installed on our tanks last August at the factory by Doug. It’s a huge upgrade over the existing lights which aren’t very reliable. With a push of a button you see the exact percentage of what the level is in the tanks. I find them to be very accurate and I highly recommend them. Bud

We went with Progressive. We were unlucky and got a big stone chip on our windshield last summer and Progressive had our windshield replaced. We had no deductible to pay. It’s included in the policy.

Ron, we got the gold Koni shocks installed as part of our suspension upgrade done at Champion Alignment last year.
We were pleased at how they improved the ride over the standard Ford shocks. I would recommend them.

General Discussion / Re: Built in GPS
« on: February 01, 2018, 06:52:41 pm »
I can’t speak for how good or bad that GPS unit is. I can tell you though that the dash board screen which I use for our backup camera has a lot of glare which makes it hard to see the display. We went with a Garmin model made for RV’s  and really like it. We also use the dash board mount that Jatrax  uses.

General Discussion / Re: What do you consider a MUST for a Phoenix Cruiser
« on: December 22, 2017, 11:39:27 am »
We have a 2017 2552 Phoenix. On the drivers side there is space between the generator and propane tank. Kermit built us a compartment to fit in there giving us a little more storage on the outside. We had it done after ours was built but it would be something to consider when you place your order.
We have the slide. We wouldn't want our Phoenix without it. We have the couch and it gives so much more living space.

General Discussion / Re: Replacing Shocks on 2017 E-450
« on: November 18, 2017, 06:00:08 pm »
I am with Ron on this. Our 2552 would wander on the highway and sway when being passed by big trucks or a gust of wind.  Last week we took our coach to Champion Frame-Alignment in Elgin, Illinois. They installed Koni shocks, a track bar, and front and rear anti-sway bars. They also aligned the front end. The way it handles now compared to the original is a huge improvement.
Even my wife can tell the difference even though she isn’t driving. I’m very pleased and would recommend the upgrade to anyone.
