I can't help with the sleeping part but the driving part I can.  I'm 6'6" @ 275# and hove no issues driving our 2552 on the E450 frame (I believe the driver's area to be  very close to the E350).  If you'd like to go up a couple sizes our rig is for sale in southwest Michigan.  It's listed in the for sale section.

With mine there is no provision for the hose to come out of the bottom of the cabinet.  I just run it out the cabinet door and leave the door open at night.  With my cpap, if I ran it out the bottom of the cabinet, I'd lose the swivel action where the hose attaches th the body of the machine.

We've been to Yellowstone late Sept three times and had chilly but nice weather.  Beartooth pass will be closed but that just means you have to go back.......bummer that!  Whatever you do secure a campsite prior to noon and then explore.  Yellowstone is huge so you'll need to change your base a couple of times.    A really neat side attraction is Mead Falls in Idaho, not too far from the town of West Yellowstone.  If you're a little adventurous you may also want to check out the Bechler corner of Yellowstone NP a remote but rewarding place.  Who cares if it's cold you've got a furnace right?? LOL

Mine is a 2018 2552 with a two way fridge.  We've had a couple of issues switching from propane to shore power.  I shut the entire fridge off for a couple minutes and it reset itself.  I also have found that the ground fault outlets are hooked up to a heck of a lot more than seems normal.  ie the outside outlet is rigged up to the GFI in the bathroom.

Thanks for all the input and well wishes!  My current everyday driver is a GMC 4WD heavy duty 2500 extended cab long bed.  So a one ton dually isn't much bigger than what I'm used to.  The campers we've looked at have very little if any rear overhang and they all have residential queen size beds. My GMC is 15 years old so I feel that it's too tired to put a camper on which is why the dually.

Once we"ve made the transition I'll still hang out and comment when travel questions come up.

Hi all.  Well, my wife and I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that motorhome traveling is just not our style.  So I'm going to be posting our 2018 2552 and our 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk towd for sale as soon as I receive the instructions for doing so.  It appears that not just anyone can post a unit for sale.  If anyone is interested please dm me we're looking for $130,000 for the pair.

We are going to switch to a dually pickup with a slide in camper.  That will give us the mobility we crave and a dry warm place to sleep.  We were never inside unless it was raining hard or too cold so, for us, a motorhome is overkill. We really like the setup but at this point in our lives it just doesn't fit our lifestyle.

Thanks for everything you guys have taught me, YOU'RE THE BEST!!

Well, I figured it out.  It seems that it takes awhile for the Bogart monitor to realize that an extra charge has been put into the batteries.  I used the auxiliary charger with the generator running for about 20 minutes, left for a walk with the batteries at 82%, returned an hour later to 99%.

Thanks for the info Ragoodsp.  The first thing we do every time is remove the fuse and we still have issues.  Both technitions I talked to have said there are very few issues if you're using the reccomend flat tow wire kit.  I think I have a defective kit that's causing other issues or it was improperly installed but we'll see.  Once you've cleared the codes with the scan gauge does it start right up or do you need to wait a bit?  Also, is there a limit as to how many times you can clear the same code?

I just tried the battery charger and my battery monitor didn't increase % at all, it actually decreased.  Could it be that since the charger isn't part of the system the charge it gives doesn't register?  The needle in the gauge on the charger started out reading 3/4 and after a half hour had dropped to 1/2.  Seems like it was working just not registering on the monitor.  Does that make sense?  If that's the case how do I monitor the battery level?

For all you Jeep Cherokee towers out there.  Do any of you have issues with power steering codes and the inability to start the vehicle unless you replace the under hood fuse in the flat tow wire harness?  We thought we had this issue fixed before we left but yesterday it reared it's ugly head again.

Thanks for the input!  Running the generator less time annoys fewer people including me.  My charger isn't a smart one (purchased 30+ years ago) my thought is to watch the battery monitor and shut things down at about 94-96%.  How does that sound?

We absolutely love our jacks especially if it's raining.  I wouldn't hesitate to put them on any size rig.
