General Discussion / 2910T Weight (U.V.W & W.W.V)
« on: December 09, 2019, 12:37:46 am »
I the specs for the Phoenix Cruisers it does not list U.V.W (Unloaded Vehicle Weight), The weight of the motorhome as built at the factory with full fuel, oil, coolant and LP-Gas. Also would be good to have W.W.V (Wet Weight of Vehicle). No passengers or supplies. Gas tank, fresh water tank, and LP-Gas tanks all full. Does anyone know if these weights are posted any where.

General Discussion / Re: 2017 2910T Dinette Leaking From Rain
« on: December 04, 2019, 11:32:24 pm »
Thank you all for replying. I appreciate the advice on what to look for, I'll spend some time looking at it when I get a chance. It is disappointing that I'm hearing PC's slide tend to leak. I'm thinking of the times I've spent in tents in down pours and never got wet, but my very expensive RV leaks!

General Discussion / 2017 2910T Dinette Leaking From Rain
« on: December 01, 2019, 06:35:15 pm »
Very frustrated with a leaky dinette slide on my 2017 2910T. I've made several attempts to caulk where I suspected it may be leaking, but a very heavy rain storm during our 2019 Thanksgiving trip revealed that I still have a leak. Came back in the evening to a wet cupboard which was running down the wall to the dinette cushions. I hate getting water in my RV! Unless someone has a good suggestion, I will pull out the caulking gun and go to town once more. If it was up to me, I'd be ordering a new Lazy Daze RV with no slides, just need to convince the wife.

I picked up my 2910T June 28 2017, we paid for the full body paint option. Since getting it home we've noticed how poor the quality of the paint job is. We've already had to take it in to a local shop (in southern CA) for repairs. I now see others issues with the paint and how it's chipping, runs in the paint, wear on the corners already from a very light weight cover. Just very disappointed. Wondering if others are having similar issues.

General Discussion / Re: PHOENIX USA, INC. sold to new owner / operators
« on: January 05, 2018, 10:47:40 am »
Not sure if this is the new normal now for Phoenix USA, but I'm not getting a response to an email I sent to Jim regarding open issues with our 2910T which is still under warranty; and the new automated phone system does not allow me to get to Jim or anyone else for that matter. The only other option when calling in if you don't know the extension or the name isn't recognized (Jim's name did not come up) is to get sales. What do we do about service issues?

Very disappointed in Phoenix Cruiser, we were never told the company was being sold during the numerous conversations I had with Earl before we decided to purchase, this should have been disclosed.

General Discussion / Re: 2018 owners here?
« on: January 03, 2018, 04:04:06 pm »
I need to chime in on the quality control, because when we picked up our RV at the end of last June there was a long list of things that I feel should have been caught and corrected before we arrived to pickup and inspect our 2910T. I hope the new owners are monitoring this forum and do something about the quality control for future customers. I'm still don't understand how most of the workmanship on the RV can be so good, and on that same RV there are many examples of very poor workmanship; and no one caught it and corrected it!

Photos / Maiden Voyage with the New RV and Jeep Toad
« on: December 08, 2017, 03:57:52 pm »
Finally got my Jeep configured to two with my 2910T. It towed beautifully, so happy with how well the 2910T drove towing my Jeep.

I need to use the Brake Controller connector that should be up under the dash of my 2017 2910T, not finding it. Has anyone used this connector? If yes, can you point me in the right direction? Trying to leverage this wiring to monitor my brake in my Toad.

Thank you.

General Discussion / 2017 2910T - Awning Problem/Question
« on: August 02, 2017, 10:29:26 pm »
This question should apply to anyone one with the automatic awning. I picked up my motor home on 6/28 and was told during the walk through that because of the curved side wall the awning may require a push with the hand when attempting to opening it. So far every time I open the awning I have to give it a push at the same time I'm pushing the awning button, otherwise it gets stuck a few inches from it's normal closed position and starts to unroll. I have to then roll it back in and make sure I give it a push as it starts to deploy and then its fine.

Anyone having this issue? The way it was explained to me it sounded like this may be a common issue. I don't recall this in the brochure or being talked about in any of their videos.

General Discussion / Re: Just Made My Deposit On a New 2910T!!!
« on: January 25, 2017, 02:40:25 pm »
Thank you for all your responses, very much appreciate it.

- No spare on the 2017's, hopefully I don't have to use my AAA with RV towing! Although I did once with my toy hauler, so it worth having.

- Our first trip will be from Indiana back to southern CA, so now we need to make plans for the route and where to stay along the way.

- We got every option except satellite and solar. Plus a few custom changes, did a hybrid on the interior material choices and counter tops, the exterior color is full body paint but not the standard choices they offer (this decision is a little scary but we thing it will look awesome), we eliminated the window and TV in the bedroom and added a third closet, eliminated all of the outside closet mirrors (will have just one mirror on the inside of one of the closet doors). added a small shelf at the head of the bed on each side for small items like a Kleenex box, cell phone and water bottle, added a number of extra plugs and they will be hooked to the inverter, couple extra exterior lights outside, a light on the inside of the rear storage compartment, the cabinets above the dinette, we will have three larger doors instead of the four smaller doors. Earl was so accommodating and helpful in making these changes.

Thank you all. I'll keep my eye out for other PC's cursing America!
