Thank you for all this really interesting information. I will pass it on to my husband. By the way, he already had a mishap at the battery, trying to clean off some corrosion. Thank God, he came into the house and stood in the shower and flushed out his eye for 25 minutes and he's okay.

Lots of information here to digest. Hopefully my brain will be more operational tomorrow.  :lol

I just saw this message. I'm not getting notified about responses anymore. Oops. I just saw that I have to check the box. Grin. I just asked my husband to take some pictures in the morning and post them. Thank you!

the problem was the battery disconnect switch. Duh 2o2

Thank you for your very clear and helpful reply. The batteries aren't working at all. It may be that the water level was too low and they died. Or we may have the battery disconnect on. We'll have to check it out. Oh well..... Our fault. Thanks!

General Discussion / Keeping the coach battery charged with shore power
« on: August 01, 2017, 11:18:52 pm »
Hi Guys,

I thought I posted this, but maybe not. We are pretty ignorant about mechanical things, but we're wondering how to keep our coach batteries charged. We have a 2015 2100, but no 30 amp outlets at the house. We can plug the motorhome into a regular 110 outlet. Would that work? Is that good? Does it automatically charge when driving? We leave it unused for long periods these days -- health issues -- and we're wondering about the battery issue under those circumstances too. I've tried looking this up on the internet but just get confused because I don't really understand what's being said. Thanks and  :help

Hi Guys,

We have a couple of seams at the refrigerator where the wood seems to have just split. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do about it?

Thanks!

Beth

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. Some of them work better than others in the 2100, which is a very small unit, but they're all interesting and informative. I'm so glad we'll be able to continue counting on you guys for help and suggestions!

Go Phoenix, sorry to be dense. But do I understand that the towel rack is in the shower but it's not on a suction cup?

9
Are all of these held with suction cups?

10
What did you use to mount the racks IN the shower? We're concerned about hurting the surface. Thanks.

We are thinking of putting the paper towel holder under the cabinet behind the light. And we were thinking of keeping all the garbage under the bathroom sink. Would love to hear any other ideas, too. My husband is afraid the toilet paper dispenser on the inside of the door would make it hard for him to get around.

12
That's great. I'll check them out. And they stick while you're driving?

Thanks for the tips so far. The 2100 is tiny, of course, but when my husband gets home, we'll take a look and see if any of the last two suggestions will work for us.

Very grateful for the support. We are both two of the least handy people on the planet!

Thanks,
Beth

Thanks so much for your response. Does the stick-on one stay put when you're driving, or does it have to be taken down each time? Can you give me more info on the stick-on towel holder? Is it the kind that has tension and holds in place that way?

Hi Friends,

My husband James and I have just taken delivery of our brand new 2100, and we just love her. We're trying to customize it to work for us, and we're wondering what some of you have done. First, has anyone hung an over-the-door towel rack at the bathroom? On ours, there's a lip at the top, which looks like it might make that impossible. Any other thoughts about hanging up hand and bath towels? Also, where have you found to be the most convenient place for the toilet paper holder? Has anyone used racks or toilet paper holders with suction cups? Do they just flop on the road? Thanks so much. We are trying to be absolutely sure we know what we're doing before we start drilling holes....
