I want to thank those who have posted on the forum. I really enjoy reading them. I may not read as much in the future in that I will be selling my 2012 2551. Many of the post are good no matter what motor home you own. If you pass this way near Jackson MS give me a call at 601 842 1745  and come by for a visit.

I do not know about all of the specifics but own a 2012 2551 with xantrex 1800 and keep my coach hooked up to elec all time. Never added water and batteries stay up.

I have owned RVs since 1965 and learned something about the furnace this week end. I WAS HOOKED TO SHORE POWER AND TURNED ON THE FURNACE. The ac fan and furnace both came on. If the thermostat fan is NOT SET ON AUTO both the ac fan and furnace will come on.

michelins ride better because the side wall is weaker. when they blow they  blow out the side wall. I have had 3 to blow.

Everyone to their liking but I would not think twice and buy the cooper provided they have the  same load carrying rating.

You have a lot of advice but if you are not going to tow I would not go for the 31. I have owned 24, 28, and several 36 before downsizing to the 2551. would not go larger unless I was going to tow.

 i desire to tow my 2011 Ford Ranger 2 wheel manual transmission. The book says 55 mph. I drive about 63 mph. Anyone with experience?

I just loaded a 250 vespa on my pc and the front raised 1/4'' and the rear dropped 1/4'' . I was surprised with 325 lbs. Think I am in good shape except I am having back problems and may not need to keep riding scooters.

I plan to carry a scooter on my 2551. The carrier( veser haul) will weigh about 87 lbs. Looking at a vespa 150 (243 lbs) or a 250 weighing 325 lbs. Has anyone had experience with one. Any advice appreciated.
