General Discussion / Cleaning underneath slide cover

Does anyone have suggestions for cleaning underneath slide cover?  Looks dirty.  What do you use to clean and how?

How and where do you turn off the invertor?  We did not know it was on.

We picked up our 2015    2552 Phoenix in 10/14.  Soon after leaving Elkhart, we heard a sound like static on a radio speaker.  Appears to come from both sides of the engine cover at around 50 mph.

Returning to Phoenix, they think it is a Ford problem.  Kermit did not hear it, but Bob was able to hear the noise.

We took it to Jordon Ford in  M..., IN as suggested by Kermit.  They test drove it and adjusted a speed odometer cable, but that did not help.  They made certain the engine cover was on correctly.  Drove it with the cover on and off.

We are back home again with no change in the noise.  It is most nerve racking, but not extremely loud.

Any suggestions

We are interested in taking a trip in the MI area.   If we went by Phoenix first, how would we head off next?

General Discussion / RV Cover for 28 foot 2552
« on: November 18, 2014, 07:46:03 pm »
We are looking for a RV Cover, but have not found one that is 28 foot and wide enough for our RV.  Does anyone have suggestions of where to locate one that will fit the 28 foot 2552?

Would appreciate your suggestions?  Names of manufacturers or sources.  It's cold already so we would love to find one quickly.

If you haven't been able to find a cover, what other methods or adaptations have you used to cover.

Calmark with make a custom cover, but it's expensive and would not be ready for 2 months.
