Title: Change your LinkedIn password
Post by: aimee on June 07, 2012, 01:41:06 pm
Just an FYI for those who use LinkedIn.
This is a copy/paste from my warnings to my friends and clients. Forward it as you wish.

If you have a LinkedIn account you need to change your password, There was a security breach at LinkedIn and millions of passwords (if not all passwords) were exposed.

Do *not* wait for an email telling you to change your password. Go to the LinkedIn website, log in, and change your password. Do *not* click on any links in any LinkedIn emails telling you that you need to change your password. There are already fake emails going around trying to fool people into providing their current LinkedIn login information.

You're welcome!  I realize that I send these kinds of reminders out to my clients when I'm supposed to, but I should pass them along here too.   :)(:
