Title: MPG on 250 mile trip

I forgot to post our mileage whilst towing Linda's Smart Car to & from Tawas.  I finally tanked up the other day and we got 8.2 mpg during the 250 mile trip - no time on gen clock, water & food outward &not much homeward. :-D :-Dkevin

OK, Stealth, what makes it a Smart car? And don't tell me it's because it's a 2 seater Mercedes, the size of a roller skate and gets 90,000 miles per gallon.
Did you ever see one that's been in an accident? (I'm pullin' yer chain here - except for the accident).

 :-D :-D :-D That's why TinkerBell is Linda's car  :cool :cool and I have the Piaggio  ;) ;) :lol :lol I get better gpm  (cheer) She goes through more squirrel fooders & Pixie Dust than I.

Hey Kev,

Tinker Bell, the Smart car and a Piaggio for a guy that's big enough to destroy any thought of stealth. Do you rotate the springs on them?
Would you not be better off with a FIAT Abarth (at least the top folds back so you can have your head high enough to see out of it)?
Hey, here's an idea; get a white Abarth and you could sneak up on people who would think its a spitwad on the end of a shoebox. ;)
It'd be pretty easy to go completely invisible at Sleeping Bear too. (WH)

Better be careful about promising the rear end for her birthday.  Apparently Smart is thinking about reviving the Smart forfour in an improved form for the US market in the next year or two.

I saw a Smart Roadster/convertible coupe in Germany last year and it's really an attractive car. And it actually has a front and rear as well as resembling a real car. 2o2

Yup..... We are  going to Michigan  via Ontario to visit with Frank and Dee Jezek. We'll be  leaving Mass. on June 9th and arriving on Thursday the 14th.

I planned our route out there.  Haven't figured out how to get home yet.      >8)

I'm taking retirement one day at a time.
