I was reading the manual on cleaning the half time oven and noticed it said do not clean the front of the door with paper towel since it is plastic. Mine looked liked it needed cleaning so I called the manufacturer and spoke with customer service. They told me that the front door plate is indeed plastic and if it needs any type of cleaning to use a "PLASTIC" polish. She stated that most of the door plates will have swirl marks in them because of the plastic material and the best way to clean them is to use a plastic polish with a soft cloth.

Boy, that sounds like a P.I.T.B. It's a kitchen appliance for Pete's sake. I am surprised to hear of that cleaning requirement.
We have the older Sharp (I think it's a Sharp) and we wipe it down with whatever means is handy, wash cloth, paper towels & class cleaner, etc. No swirl marks.
