For anyone who spends time in campgrounds with sandy sites, this mat is ridiculous. The fabric was originally developed for helicopter pads. It's a one way material that allows the sand to filter through from the top, but cannot come up from the underneath. Resistant to mold, mildew, dries quickly, stores small. It even has D rings for anchoring or hanging, and can also be used as a sun screen. A little pricier than the Lowes outdoor rug but infinitely better. Check it out at NRS - Northwest River Supply.
