Title: 6V batteries

Can a 2010 or newer 2551 battery tray be adapted to fit 4 6v batteries?

Deena,  If you plan to special order a new PC, the factory may be able to accomodate your request.  The tray and space for it can hold only two batteries.  The other two would need to be mounted elsewhere.  Another thought would be to place all 4 batteries together elsewhere and use the existing tray space for something else.  Keep in-mind that batteries need ventilation, even sealed batteries.  So putting them under a bed might be of concern of gas buildup.
