Title: Rusty hinges
Post by: LRS on December 05, 2011, 09:24:35 am
Has anyone had rusty hinges???   Noticed that the bathroom door hinges were
rusty....had seen a reddish-brown powder on the floor...

Will need to be replaced.

Had not had this ever before....in former rv.

Guess I will need to keep the pc either
plugged in or hang a Damp Rid in bathroom.

(Have also used vent/fan after using shower....and door propped open
when stored.   ???

Humidity is hard on everything, from house to motor home.  Houses have a/c that runs all the time.  No so with motor homes parked and waiting to be used.  A dehumidifier with a continuous drain, would be good to have running.  Especially in the southern super-humid regions.

Come to Arizona - "It's a Dry Heat!"  Of course, it's sometimes 115 degrees worth of dry heat!

It's not dry in our part of Arizona.  We're about 90 miles north of Phoenix and have over a foot of snow and currently 17 degrees. :cool
