I finally finished installing the TV in our new 2551. I wanted it to tilt and swivel so I looked for a mount that was RV friendly and was able to accommodate the 26 inch. This is what I found.

I purchased it a couple of weeks ago when it was on sale for $35.99. After I ordered it my DW and I went to an RV show just to look. To my surprise many of the manufacturers had this same mount installed in their RVs..
I recessed the mount so that the TV and attached mount sits flush against the backboard. I ordered all my cables and wall mounting plates from monoprice.com. The only thing I have left to do is add a small shelf under the TV to stabilize it during travel.

Nice job Barry. Do the glass cabinet doors still clear the TV? I was looking at my TV so I could tilt it downward but the doors kept hitting the TV. I did not think about recessing the mount.
Now you need to duck tape the wires in the rear cabinet by your DW new laundry basket. Always another project.

Tom,
Yes, we still have some clearance on both sides of the TV. The doors swing open without hitting the TV. We will probably uitlize the swing arm alot since it allows TV viewing no matter where you sit on the couch. The reason we chose the Visio is that you can see the picture from any angle. You can "ALMOST" view a clear picture standing behind the TV.

PS - Still alot to do in the new rig. Those wires are one thing I need to tape up.
