Title: Hot Water tank bypass
Post by: Lou on October 19, 2011, 05:49:36 pm
How do I bypass the hot water tank on a 2350? Drained it and don't want to pump antifreeze into it. Manual says valves are on the back of the tank but there is no access to the back.  Thanks!

You have to remove the bottom draw under the sink. To remove the draw, pull it out until it stops, push down on the plastic arrow on one side while pushing up on the other side, then the draw should slide out. Sorry I don't remember which side is which, so you will have to try both. Then turn all three valves to bypass the water heater.

Lou, you are not the first or will be the last to know where the valves are. I seems like this question comes up every fall. So this may have help some others getting ready to winterize also.

If you found this helpful, please press the "mark helpful" on the left, under my name. I am trying to keep up with Ron D.

Hey Tom --- I'll push the helpful button!!! I tried those d--- arrows every which way but the right way (both up, both down, etc.) -- BTw, I had to remove the panel (screws) on my 2006 2350 ---
When do you get your new baby?

One down, one up is what I had to do.

New PC about mid November.
