Title: My first post - Hi everybody
Post by: rlamb on August 17, 2011, 03:05:23 pm
I purchased my 2011 2551 in july of 2010 and have been very pleased with the product. Iv'e been out and about on several trips and other than the suspension being a little sloppy- i'm happy with phoenix.  I hope to learn a lot of tips from my fellow forum members which brings me to my question? Does anybody have any special techniques or advice on cleaning the fiberglass roof.
Thanks in advance.

Hi rlamb,

Welcome!

If you ever want an ear full on how to improve your rig's handling, just ask.  But a lot has already been discussed a number of times over so if you dare, try searching the Phoenix Cruiser forum along with other general RVing forums.

About twice a year I take a bucket of soapy water, a long handled brush and the hose up and wash the top.  It never really needs washing, but I do it because I feel better for some reason.

Welcome.  We also have a 2551 (2008 model).  It's our 1st & we're loving it.  Enjoy!

welcome rlamb:

If you do a search you will find we have discussed this not too long ago.  I send my kid up top with the pressure washer on low and some dish soap.  Works well.  I think one of our finer members pays his auto detailer once a year to clean the the rv top to bottom.
