Well folks it's 108.5°F here at 12:50 PM (in the shade) and the MH has not been run since the last time I worked on the Scan Guage, AND, not much else is working here, including me, except for the AC.
Let the MH idle and saw the print out of codes laying there for the TFT X-Guage add-on to the Scan Guage. So I decided that I would go ahead and give it a try. Turns out that entering the sets of codes in the guage is fairly intuitive and goes quickly once you find the right page in the manual to start the sequence.
As you may remember the only reason I got this is for tranny temps going down the road. I put the codes in punched ok and went to the home page. Scan through the various setups and TFT (Transmission Fluid Temperature) did not show up. Went back in and checked #1 (out of 19 vacant positions) where I programmed it and it was empty. Re-entered all of the codes and followed the instructions this time and hit save before going to the home page, scan through and TFT was where it was supposed to be and left it on the page with HP, °fWT, TFT and GPH. Let the engine run for run for 20 minutes until WT stabilized at 195°F and the TFT climbed through 150° from 141°F.
All appears to be what I signed on for and barring a meltdown I am happy with the mount, display, and info available.
BTW air temp at the front of the MH displayed on the mirror at shut down was 122°F.
Following directions more better makes things work more better, I guess.

Thanks for the update, my new Scan Gauge is sitting on the workbench, I am recovering from surgery so it will be a couple more weeks before I get to it.
Glad to hear that the trans temp function works for the Ford E-series, this was an important function for me as well. I will pay attention to the instructions and "save" the code entries.

Sorry to hear you are having problems and hope your recovery is going well.

Yeah, we are in PEI and the temp this morning was 57F and we are FREEZING; although 57 is certainly better than 108+++++++++
