Title: automatic awning questions
Post by: mciai2000 on May 29, 2011, 02:42:30 pm
Happy Memorial weekend all!

On our 2350 we have the dometic electric awning. I am wondering if there is any way to position the awning any other way than full out?  For example, on my old unit I was able to tilt the awning to one side to help the rain water run off.  I was also able to lower the awning as the sun moved.  I think there is no way I can do either of these movements.  Am I correct?  Any thoughts on this?

David.

Yes, you can lower or tilt the awning.  Pull down on each corner and lock in position using the knob on the arm.

And remember to unlock the arms BEFORE you retract it.

Now see that seems just too simple!!! My kid suggested that to me this weekend, but I dissed him as that seemed too basic... I guess I expected the Cruiser to have something fancy and electrical..........

Thanks.
