2012 PC / 2552 :
When plugged in to shore power, if I turn off the inverter at the breaker panel I lose power to the TV, Kitchen, bath and outside receptacle. Maybe microwave but I don’t remember. Doesn’t seem normal, any ideas where to start looking.
Found this by accident, turned off the breaker while doing some housekeeping under the bed.

You are most likely correct, there are 2 transfer switches, the 1st switch is in the wall behind the driver's seat. It switches between shore power and the Genset and supplies the main 120v power distribution panel The second transfer switch switches between shore power and inverter output for those TV outlets, exterior outlets and bathroom outlets (inverter does NOT power the microwave). . I believe that 2nd transfer switch is inside the inverter in my 2015 model but earlier models may have used an external switch mounted near the inverter

Thanks for the reply Don. It appears that the shore power flows through the inverter to a sub-panel. If the breaker is off, the sub panel does not power the receptacles.
Being an older unit there isn’t lot of information about how it’s wired. Xantrex is non-responsive, I wasn’t even sure if it had an internal transfer switch. It’s time to start looking for a replacement. The fans are noisy; it might be OK for a long time or give out at the worst time.

That is typical behavior of the invertors I've seen. If you power off the invertor at the breakers then its outlets are dead. However, if you use the control panel (usually near the generator controller behind the driver) to didable the invertor, it switches the invertor to stand by, ie "OFF" and then allows shore power to pass thru to the outlets.
