Title: Starlink
Post by: dougisan on March 27, 2024, 10:51:07 pm
Can't believe when I search Srarlink on this forum that there are no posts on Starlink.  I own a 2021 Phoenix Cruiser 2552. So the question I have is, how do you best run the Starlink Cable to the outside of the rig.  I do not want to throw it out the window or a door.  I am looking for a more permanent way so that I can use the Starlink while rolling down the road.

Depends on where your receiver is.  I have a 2551 and run the cables (2 of them) for my satellite receiver (Dish TV) into the top of the cabinet on the passenger side front.  The system comes with a plate that has 2 covered slots for the wires and is about 4" in diameter.  That keeps the wires flat and covers the hole in the roof.  I used Dicor Lap Sealant and zero leaks.

In the back, I ran another cable thru the roof into the wardrobe closet in the bathroom.  That cable goes to my cell booster antenna.  The booster came with a similar small cover that also got covered with Dicor.  Zero leaks in 8 years. I used the self leveling Dicor rather than the stiff caulk type of Dicor
