Title: Door opener & lock to pc 2551 2009

I have been in & out of my 2009 PC 2551 many times today, but the last I shut the door , now it will not open. I went inside over the front seat to see if I could get it open from inside.
No luck .All locks are off. Any help would be appreciated.

Common problem with RV lock. Pot metal breaks. You can push the plunger with a screwdriver from inside where it latches. When door open it will fly away with the spring. Search on this forum you will see where to buy a replacement plunger or an entire new lock assembly. Read them all.

One thing it seems is that eventually everyone has the door striker bolt failure. 

Ordering a replacement is made more difficult by the door thickness of the Phoenix Cruiser.  While waiting for a replacement that fits, I operated the door by removing the striker bolt and used the deadbolt.  Key entry from outside.  Knob operation from inside.

Get a steel striker are..  You can get them from http://latchfix.com there is a good installation video on the site.. Watch it and see if you have the skills (not a lot required) to fix it permanently.
