I wonder if there is a consensus among the Phoenix Cruiser community members on what the best tire is.
i recently bought six Cooper (an American Company) Discoverer All-season AT XLT tires and am impressed with ride comfort. A whisper quiet ride. Handling performance is great.
All-Season, All-Terrain Tire with Extreme durability. Rugged sidewall design with deep tread that help the tires provide increased traction, as well as additional resistance to
abrasion and punctures.
Treadwear Warranty: 60,000 Miles
Rated for hauling heavy loads with less wear.

I have always used Michelin tires. The Agilis is their latest rv all season tire. They handle just fine, they can be a little noisy on concrete roads.

Ditto to Taildragger's post above in re Cooper tires. I have gone to the same locally owned tire and auto repair shop for forty years. They sell a lot of different brands and will order you about anything you want that is special. The owner got me started buying Cooper tires several years ago and they now on all our vehicles. Never a problem, good ride and long lasting.

I also went with the Michelin Agillis tires 3 years ago. Do their job well.
I also went with the solid metal extended valves instead of the braided extensions, which I never had a problem with, but read on this forum that some did.
No TPMS, but thinking about adding.

Same situation for me. Except the tire store is affiliated with one of the biggest tire retailers on the West Coast. Store Manager is a close friend. When asked what was the best tire, his unreserved reply made the decision clear.
