Title: RV Water Hose
Post by: garmp on October 07, 2022, 09:44:15 am
Time to replace our old Camco white water supply hose. I have been looking at one of these Silver Bullet type of expandable hoses. Which one I don't know. I know it has to be drinking water safe. Anything else I should be concerned about.
Any one use another type of hose? Which one & why?

thanks

For the last couple years I’ve been using the zero G hose I picked up at lowes. Takes up minimal room and it’s rated for drinking water.  Some say they don’t last but I bought an extra one 50’ that I use a lot around the house all year long that’s held up very well. I think they come with a 5 year warranty.  Cost.  I don’t remember.

My camco hoses now hang in the garage.  Which ever you get you’ll appreciate how nice they roll up and the ease in storage

We use the blue one, seems to be better and lasts a lot longer than the white ones.

For the last 3 years I've used the "Flexzilla Garden Hose w/ SwivelGrip Connecters, 5/8" x 25', 3/4" . It is super flexible even in cold weather, never kinks and swivel grips at each end make it easy to tighten.

Thanks keelhauler. I think that's the one. Especially with arthritis setting in.
Really appreciate it.
