HI all, I have a 2019 Phoenix TRX and I am having a problem with a blinking slideout mechanism. the slideout mechanism flashes red and then one-time green then back to red. The slideout works evenly in and out. I had this issue when I first got the RV in Jan. of 2021. Does anyone know what I can do to maybe reset it? Or where it just has a red or green light on, not blinking? I went to the dealership before and I don't really remember, but I think maybe they unplugged it, waited for a little, and replugged it in. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. OH, I am set to leave on a week's vacation, so know no one will be able to look at it. Fingers crossed.

Hello
Not really familiar with what they are using for the TRX slide but if its the Lippert Schwintek then here is a link to the manual. https://liferebooted.net/2018-phaeton-40ih/Schwintek-Slide-Owners-Manual.pdf Also just an FYI if this is your slide, are you holding the the slide button in for 10 seconds after the side stops (so if your opening it hold it in the open direction for 10 seconds, same goes for when you are closing it) this synchronizes the motors.
Very Respectfully

My Lippert Schwintek slide controller does the same thing. When we first purchased our unit I called the factory, talked with a tech & was informed that that's the way its wired? The light only blinks when the slide is in. Our controller is in a cabinet & doesn't bother us. We also had Lippert Schwintek slide controllers in our Tiffin Class A, they didn't blink unless sending a code. Sounds like the slide is working properly. If you count the blinks, red & green, it is sending a error code #9 "Hall PWR SHORT TO GND". Again, the factory tech advised that there's nothing wrong with the controller. I'm interested in feed back from others that have Lippert Schwintek controllers. Chuck

Ours will occasionally do this (blink when the slide is in). I only noticed it once when I opened the cabinet door. The slide works fine. Just for kicks I "bumped" the slide "out" button just briefly, not enough to move the slide, just a touch is all it takes, enough to barely engage the motors, and the light goes out. I cannot explain how or why this works, or even what prompted me to try it, but it works to stop the blinking. As stated, the slide works fine. We actually had the coach up to the mothership October last year for work on the slide (an unrelated issue) and all is well with the slide workings. Just wanted to share our experience with the blinking lights. Gary

My 2018 slide was blinking red and green with the slide out. After holding the button for "out" for 10 seconds as Lance mentioned the blinking quit. YMMV
