PC Travel Club Reunion 2021 - we had a couple of cancellations so we have a few open spots for our Spearfish South Dakota reunion. Check in is Sunday September 19th with check out on Friday September 24th. You do need to need to be a member of our Travel Club, however, membership is currently free. Check out our information about this awesome reunion and the club at PhoenixCruisertravelclub.org or email me at president@phoenixcruisertravelclub.org and I will get back to you.
Wannabee's are welcome. We expect close to 40 Phoenix Cruisers to roll in. PC USA Owner Tina Cooper, Manager Dave Ponsler, and Super Service guy Doug will be there.

I’ve msg holly, and think I joined the travel club(filled out questionnaire). Can’t figure out how to password/userid to access further?
-
Got it. Emailed with info and getting you all set up. Welcome to the club! I look forward to meeting you in Spearfish!
That's two of our four spots (human headcount in the meeting hall is our cap, not rigs). If anyone else is considering this, don't delay. We will put names on a wait list as we usually get a late cancellation or two but we all need a little lead time to make the trip. Two more lucky people get that guaranteed "in".

Ok, we’re in. Been so long, got to figure out how to make everything work again.
-
can we join the travel club? We have a 21 2351d and will try to attend.
Thanks Ron and Jody Evans

Join at https://phoenixcruisertravelclub.org/membership-information-1/ Dues are waived this year (and have been for a while) so joining costs nothing. Once you've joined the Webmaster will send you log in information so you can get back on our website, access the member only area, and fill in the reunion registration form. We look forward to seeing you in Spearfish!

We might be able to stop in during one day with no overnight accommodations needed. It would surely be nice to meet some fellow PC owners, hanging out together for a good part of a day, sharing what we have in common and more. I assume "drop in's" are welcome.
Could you email me the exact location and schedule of events.
-
Hi Ron, drop ins are welcome for any unpaid portions of the reunion. The paid portions are meals (breakfast every day, dinner Sunday and Thursday), the day trip, and a hot cocoa bar at the campfire on Wednesday night. Monday + Tuesday are pretty booked but Wednesday or Thursday would probably work. We have a free tour of the historic fish hatchery at 10 on Wednesday (right next to the campground) then the campfire and hot cocoa bar that night so that would be a good day as well as Thursday. Those days after mostly unscheduled so attendees can go tour the area but many will still be in camp. We are at the Spearfish City Campground in Spearfish, SD. We also rented the Snappers Club building in the middle of the campground so drive to that. I expect we'll have people hanging out there most of the time and it would give you a spot to start (and park).

thanks

Can we come for 2 nights, 19/20. The Phoenix guys said they would try to fix smokes issues with the RV.
Thanks, Ron and Jody Evans

I just had a cancellation so that shouldn't be a problem. Karen will probably invoice you shortly. See you in Spearfish!

Whoops, another paid event is Bingo. Only registered members can participate since we purchase prizes. To clarify, our reunion fees cover the cost of the reunion. We try to keep it as inexpensive as possible so there isn't a lot of wiggle room in our budgets. We are fine with people dropping in and everyone loves meeting other owners but there have been complaints in the past when attendees thought we were allowing people to join in without paying.

Oh, I surely don't want to upset people buy dropping in like that. With all the numerous pre-paid activities going on, it would surely raise eyebrows if we found ourselves stepping into the midst of such activities.
It's best we take a pass and proceed with our original trip plan and "not" backtrack from Keystone SD on the 22nd or 23rd to crash the PC bash.
Have a great time. I hope the weather is cooperative for the event.

Weather is one thing we can't predict but it's looking good so far. Bingo is on Monday so Wednesday or Thursday (22nd, 23rd) would still work if you want to stop by.
-
I get it! We will plan on dropping in but stay away from "events", congregating instead in the campground with others there.
Our PC is a real mess, currently having a layer of bugs up front, and grime all about. Maybe we will find an RV wash bay before then.

We are spending tonight in Badlands NP and plan to drop in around noon or so tomorrow Wednesday. I hope to meet some of you there.

We planned on arriving around the noon hour but unfortunately we got there around 3 hours later. It was wonderful chatting with forum members & spouses minpin, donc13, Douglas Weddle, gandolf42, backroadcruiser, and 2 frazzled.....and also Tina of Phoenix USA.
I want to give a special "Thank You" to Doug Weddle and his wife Marilyn for pulling up behind us days earlier on Interstate 90 (east bound mile marker 81 between Gillette and Buffalo WY) when they saw us stranded on the shoulder with what turned out to be a failed fuel pump control module. They stayed with us until the tow truck arrived.
Our 2350 with 158" wheel base just fit on a standard flat bed tow truck (M.A.D. Towing 307-670-3011). The driver and owner, Branden told us that any longer and the price would be triple the cost. It cost us $250 for the 45 mile tow to Gillette and $165 for the repair at the Ford dealer there. We highly (very highly) recommend Thunder Basin Ford 307-682-4735 in Gillette WY. Bill the service manager, and Mike the technician were two God-sents.
It was a good thing I had recently installed rear skid wheels because they really did a good job in rolling instead of dragging the tail during the lifting and lowering processes. Brandon was very happy to see that I had them.

And, a good time was had by all! We're about 80 miles from home stopped for lunch. In total, this trip will be real near 5,000 miles over 42 days. Fun trip, only slight issue was side door latch (again) and that was fixed easily... And at no cost br RVDesigner who happened to be sorta near our intended route anyway.
Happy to meet everyone at the Reunion and we had a very warm welcome, especially since this was our first reunion!
EXCELLENT job, Holly and company! Thank you!
