Question. What temperatures are you seeing coming out of your A/C right at the duct in the roof? I’m in low 50’s. I think I may need a charge.

The recognized general standard for temperature drop from an air conditioner is a 16 to 22 degrees F temperature difference between supply air and return air. It can vary some with the type of system (window A/C, central A/C, etc), and other conditions. Most sources will round that off to 20 degrees.
This temperature difference is called evaporator Delta T. When evaporator Delta T is between 16°–22° F (ideally 20), that means your system is working properly, but if the difference falls outside of that range, it indicates that your AC likely has some issues.
If your discharge air is in the "low 50's" as you indicate, your A/C should be performing fine if the ambient room temperature is about 20 degrees higher--"low 70's".

Perfect. Thanks. Sounds like we are good.
