We just had our 2019 PC extensively detailed and then had a long-lasting clearcoat protectant applied (Underdog pro). Now we are seeing a bunch of hairline cracks all over the rear cap/trunk section. They have a very slight bulge to them as well. The very-experienced guy who did the work says it might have been a "curing" problem when that section was painted. They were not visible when we bought the PC last year at the factory . Am going to call the factory today as well.

I have quite a few on the back of my 2019 as well. I will be curious to know what the factory says.

Your 2019 model years is the first I have heard of this. I wonder if there was a mishap in the painting process during a specific window of time.
All paint work is outsourced to a company located in Phoenix's neighborhood, so I imagine they would be involved in making it right for you.

We had a great deal of hairline cracks in Our rear cap as well. Somewhere so bad I had to pay a body shop to fix them I couldn’t tolerate looking at them anymore. I spoke to the factory several times, each time they said that the rear cat must’ve been struck somehow to cause all the cracking. I doubt that.

Will, sounds like your basic plausible deniability.
