Title: Replacement window corner plastic angles

I just replaced all my exterior window rubber weather stripping. All my stripping had shrunk and was obviously damaged by heat and sun. While doing that I saw the almost all of the plastic corners of my screens are broken.

Has anyone replaced those plastic corners?

Where can the corners be purchased from?

Search the forum for an old window glazing thread which links to  a  company  that supplies window glazing sample kits and all kinds of rv window parts too. I can’t recall their name because I ordered the glazing from Phoenix instead, sorry.

I've been wanted to do this but I guess I am to stupid to figure out which weather stripping to buy.  Do you have a part number and or any info to purchase?

I ordered the glazing from PC. They now only sell black. I first did order samples from Pellard Enterprises. But it was still difficult to get a perfect match to the OEM.

It was quite a job to put in. But my PC needed it since my glazing shrunk due to sun damage.

You have to do it on a warm day and soak the glazing in hot water before trying to put it in place. I also used a lot of soap to make sure it slid into the proper groove.

Pellard is the place I was referring to. Search their online store for screen  corners.

PC uses Hehr windows. The plastic corners are not available from PC, but the can be found on the internet in various sites and even Amazon.

I found RV Parts Center, who sells the corners in pairs to be the best price.

Are your screens falling apart because the plastic corner brackets have become brittle, damaged from the sun?
