Title: Draining water
Post by: Phil Grennan on June 09, 2021, 12:00:10 pm
Do we have a manual water tank drain valve on our coaches?   Mine is a new 3100.   Would like to drain and refill the tanks.  I realize I can just run the water but was hoping there is an easier way.

Thanks

I'm not familiar with that model but all have a drain on the water tank that is usually under a bed and accessed by a small 8" x 8" hatch. Use a flashlight to see it.

Besides the fresh water tank drain, there are also low point drains.

I'm pretty sure all of the models will have the fresh water tank under the bed. It's the only place it will fit. The drain should be right next to it. There will be an access panel cut out of the bed base under the mattress.

The water heater has its own drain behind the outside panel. Let it cool first and don't run it without water in it

The low point drains are under the lowest drawer in the kitchen as well as the water heater bypass valves. You have to remove the drawer to access them.
