Title: Pairing Bilstein Comfort series front shocks with HD series rears
Post by: CalCruiser on November 08, 2020, 06:50:44 am
After completing an 1100 mile trip , I am totally pleased with this setup  on my E350 2350.

With the tires inflated as specified to 65 psi front / 60 psi rear, DW says the 2350 now rides better than her Jeep.  Rock Auto lists the Comfort series application as  being for vans and short wheelbase motorhomes.

I decided on this configuration based upon multiple threads on this forum about front axle weights, a technical article about the stiffness of monotube vs. twin-tube shocks (Bilstein boasts about a larger piston) and some really pertinent old threads on RV.net.

Props to the legendary Eric Davis at Eric’s RV Performance Center  2o2

I'm also interested in these particular shocks for my 2007 PC 2350; can you post the part numbers or a link? Thanks.
